crosses dont have to be straight, it just has a rounder trajectory than a straight right. straights and crosses have a different technique as well.
thanks for educating some of these dumbasses who don't realize that a right hook doesn't really exist for an orthodox fighter. sure i've seen commentators once in a while describe it as such but that's why they're commentators and not boxing trainers or experts they don't know shit.
Gotcha. But I'm sure you can still throw a half hook/overhand right if you developed it into your style.
I thought it wasn't straight enough for a cross when Marciano threw it.

hooks are thrown with your lead hand using your back foot for fulcrum

the heaviest right hook probably goes to Foreman, it seemed to be his favorite punch.
right now, Pacquiao has the best right hook by far. It's fast as hell and packs a wallop.
Juanma's money punch is his right hook but it isn't half as good as Pacquiaos.
Hagler get's a nod as well, excellent right hook.
i've never seen RJJ switch to southpaw and throw a right hook.
currently i'd say juanma
Didnt notice it said RIGHT hook.
Ill have to agree.
Lopez has a great right hook to the body and head.
