This article has enlightened me a bit, although some or most of you disagree with it. I think Manny Pacquiao has just become the Greatest Boxer of All Time. Or probably not yet. What do you think?

Yes he is the GOAT.
Clottey should have been competitive, but instead Clottey had to cover up like never before to stop himself being knocked out.
No person who fought SRR had to act like that. They swung at SRR to try knock him out, and left openings for SRR to take advantage of. Shouldnt it be the smaller man Pac who tries not to be knocked out?
Lets face it, pac will never had 100s of fights, but that shouldnt count against him. Because he is just about fighting, and beating everyone he is expected to fight, and making it look like mismatches.
Thats not supposed to happen at this level. I think he has RJJ type attributes, but a much better tecnician.
NO!!
not yet let us wait till his boxing career is over.
exactly, let him finish his career for good sake. To me he is top 20 for sure, which is really high. But I hate how the article pull down Sugar Ray Robinson, like if this guy was a bum beater. Sugar Ray is the GOAT, and Pacquiao have more to do if he wants top beat him.
First he has no choice to fight floyd, and after that the toughest opponent right now is Golden Johnson, if he beat him, then he's definitely top 1

The most interesting debate now is if Manny Pacquiao has surpassed Sugar Ray Robinson as the sport’s greatest boxer of all time. He may have just did after dominating Joshua Clottey on March 13th in Dallas Texas infront of almost 51,000 fans that filled up the Dallas Cowboys’ Stadium
.... So you can surpass Sugar Ray Robinson by beating Clottey ??!! please god help us
I think it will be pretty obvious in ten to twenty years when looking on paper, that the guys he has beat of late were shot, past prime, and damaged goods.
Now,because it is wrong.
Barrera was 29 years old and on a great winning period when he lost to Manny. He was P4P.
Morales in the rematch, people talk like Morales was shot because he get outboxed by Raheem.
Well,Raheem has the style to upset Morales and that's it.
Manny was the first man to stop morales.
I think they were shot after getting destroyed by Manny.
Cotto and Hatton had one loss, they both were word champion when Manny fought them.
Hatton signed one of his best win post mayweather, stopping Malignaggi(Cotto didn't).
Cotto as well beating Clottey, who of course, suddenly becomes a bum after Manny outclassed him.
gotta love biased journalism...
Makes me feel warm inside.
Did that article say Pac has fought tougher fighters then Robinson?
:?!:
You can't deny it, it's a fact. :scared:
Pac is not done yet with his profession, let's wait until he retires and boxing historians will have the final say where they gonna put him in the ATG list.
For now, Pac is considered the best fighter of our era.
I haven't read the article but I gotta say that him having held four lineal titles is already enough to have rated highly but i agree, wait to see where his ride takes us.
I was going to stop right here, but decided to keep reading - Some experts consider Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest of all time. Some experts are now thinking Manny Pacquiao has taken that spot after the series of devastating wins over worthy opponents who are not only world-classed boxers, but are bigger and heavier than him.
Decided this is where I drew the line - While it is true that Sugar Ray Robinson fought more fights than Pacquiao, you can not deny the fact that Pacquiao fought tougher opponents.
Thanks for waiting a minute of my time, Yvhes Panelo.
