Too small. He's only 6 '2 and I heard last night he weighed at 268 pounds. Out of shape and too small. Klitschko is 6 '6 and weighs 244.
But I know what it is, everytime the Klitschko beat a heavyweight, we need another hope and Solis is not one either.
Solis may some day be a decent challenger for the title! But when the best and biggest win on your resume is Cal Drumond, there is no way he should be allowed near a title. He is a prospect not a contender! Lets see how he handles some of these fringe contenders that were thrown into title shots lately and move him up first.
It's kinda strange to look at Solis back in the AMs, it looks like this Solis ate that one.
You do know that is David Haye he is working righ? This is why I say Solis sparks him, Both fight the same way and nothing about Haye shows me it would be any different now, than it was back then.
Before the brits and Haye fans come to flame....this situation is similar to Forrest owning shane in the amateurs and then again in the Pros. The same thing that gave shane issues then, gave him problems in the pros. Same shit with solis and haye.

I honestly was the first poster to start saying this.
First of all, I said he has the best chance of any HW. If Solis comes in 240-250 he could make it slightly competive due to his ridiculous experience, skill, hand speed and power.
At the end of the day, either Klit beats him decisively. Both are light years ahead of any HW right now.....and all I'm saying is Solis has the best chance compared to the rest.
only chance he has is a punchers chance vs wlad. he can punch in combination, has good power and decent hand speed.
one thing that he does have to his advantage is his long ass arms. in the case of chambers, he couldnt reach wlad with a power punch if he tried. his arms too short to box with wlad.
IF he loses a good 20-30 pounds he could be lamon brewster-esque, but i doubt it. he just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
I have never been particularly impressed with Solis, poor workrate, lazy/fat, too flat footed, one paced, closes distance too slowly meaning a fighter who can take advantage of his peek a boo defence will beat him.
I had high hopes for Solis coming out of the amateurs, the guy was really quick with great ring sense and good power but it seems like he's falling into the trap that a lot of Cuban heavyweights fall into, he's going to Burger King too much.
