As a Chambers fan, I'm disappointed. Why wasn't Chambers circling to Wladimir's right? Poor corner advice as well. Chambers was right within Wladimir's 1,2.
I hope not, the guy is a disgraceful tomato. The worst performance ever.
Chambers threw less punches than kevin Tomato,he never tried to do nothing the whole fight. The guy is an absolute clown.Eddie Tomato for you.lol
Eddie tomato did worse than Kevin tomato or Chagaev tomato. The only fighter that forced wlad to fight was Thompson, but unfortunately he injured his leg in the mid rounds or the fight would be more competitive.
All these tomatos don't want to fight with Thompson, cos all of them would lose.
Thompson is the best american right now,but he is too old.
I think Arreola is the best american right now, if he took his training seriously he would be better. They should make a tournament to decide who's the best american HW.

I might get heat for this but Eddie Chambers is done. In both of his losses his corner has acted this way. He gets discouraged easily and has no heart. I don't see him bouncing back from this nasty KO.
Chambers wasn't close to getting knocked out against Povetkin, he just gave up because he was intimated by Povetkin's amatuer credentials and all the hype he got, so he gave the fight away.
Chambers really tried to beat Wladimir, it's just that Wladimir was too big and too good. It will take a while for Chambers to recover, he needs a brake, we have to wait to see how well Povetkin does.

He wasn't into survival mode, he was fighting back, he was trying to land punches, but he was constantly hitting air.
Don't say that, most of these jokers can't tell anything unless it's pointed out by an announcer.
The main problems was Wlad's ring generalship which came from his foot speed, reach, and mental toughness. His reach kept him out of range when they were standing in front of each other. His foot speed for when Chambers punched or feinted. And his mental toughness to come right back and press Chambers as soon as he stopped throwing.
Eddie's counter right hand was a waste, he should've kept it in the holster unless he was tied up or goin to the body.
His best punch was his left hook to Klitschko's left shoulder. It didn't do its intended purpose of injuring and/or stopping Wlad's jab and left hook.
The only punch that he could've actually done tonight is a counter left hook to the body. Anything else would've been out of character.
Hes just not big enough for someone Wlads size. Reach was a huge problem for him tonight.
Although the reach was a problem, there was a way to get around that. I wish Eddie's trainer gave him some solid ring advice.
someone had a good point here, hey I'm not saying wlad is the greatest ever, he might be top 10 heavyweight all time, or he might be top 20-25. but the point is he is an ATG at least in top 20-30 or so if not much better and guys like chambers are just 'decent' guys that will never even be in the top 100. so there's not much shame losing to an ATG i guess.
This was a solid win for Wladimir.

Yeah Chambers was like, "what the hell do you want me to do rush in and then get countered.
BJ Flores said it best "why do opponents circle to Wladimir's right hand?"
Chambers is a good defensive fighter but lacks ant spirit !!
He did well in rounds 10 and 11. He started finally using his legs, he was circling to Wladimir's right hand, he's suppose circle to Wladmir's right.
that's because he got a 10 minute rest from his glove debacle that granted him a 3rd wind
Atlas is right about one thing, Chambers was wrong to fight from the distance, although he did way better than most wlad opponets, its clear that wlad's weakness is on the inside, and chamber is quite good at that as he showed in the dimitriko fight, I guess the biggest issue is closing the gap without being tagged by wlad.
Wladimir's weakness is that he can't fight on the inside and that he expects opponents to circle to his right hand. When you circle from Wladimir's right he can't land the right hand or the left hook, and that's when you nail him with good shots.
Chambers had poor advice today, but then again Wladimir was just too good.

Teddy Atlas to Chambers , "Your the reason I quit training fighters."
I like Chambers but hes to small as a heavyweight and hes to content trying to land his jab and double jab. Even against Peters who was nothing more than a over sized heavybag Chambers never tried to land a big shot.
Hes an undersized heavyweight who tries to fight on the outside, doesnt bend his legs or move his head. If the heavyweight division wasnt so weak we wouldnt even know his name.
I'm not slamming him for his performance tonight, there wasnt anything he could do. But sometimes you need to duck your head and throw some bombs, all he did was double jab, one upstairs and one to the body all night. I agree with Atlas, the guy just doesnt try hard enough to hurt his opponents.
If Chambers opened up right in front of Wlad he would of been knocked out earlier. Chambers was fighting smart in round 10 and 11, using his feet, and using offense. But again Chambers had to circle AWAY from Wladimir's right hand.
Chambers is good but Wlad is great. No shame in losing to one of the greatest HW's of alltime. He will be back and he has the work ethic to still compete against any heavy not named Klitschko.
