Lol. Pacquiao is testing his own chin because no else has tested it ever since the JMM 2 fight. I think he likes to find out if he can take shots. He did it against Cotto and now against Clottey.
Which is DANGEROUS against Mayweather---the times when he is TRULY stunned is the times when he doesn't see the punches coming, which is ironic considering it's Pacquiao who usually does it to his opponents.
i happen to agree that it could be like a flash knockdown for not seeing the punch, the same happened to Roy Jones when Lou Del Valle scored a flash KD against him. But i doubt that it would be a KO.
As far his chin i will say its pretty strong. He did have that moment in RD 4 against Hussein where he was KD by a stiff Jab but that was at 122. He also was stunned badly against Larios in one of early rounds and was against the ropes at 126, he also had a few moments in the marquez fights but he seems to assimilate and recuperate fast. In many ways it reminds me of PBF who gets stun but recovers fast. PBF recovered fast from some of the best Chop Chop and Judah blows.

Clottey's physique is impressive but as we all know that really doesn't tell you anything about how hard he hits. He doesn't have that "snap" to his punches mainly because his transition from defence to offence is weak or practically non-existent. He really doesn't have any leverage to his punches. He is no weak puncher by any means and he can cause serious damage but I don't consider him to be in the top of the hardest punchers at welterweight.
Good but immobile defence and average offence. I knew he was going to be a target practice against Pacquiao. That turtle-shell defence doesn't work on a mobile fighter who gives you angles, throws faster and more punches than you.
Pacquiao's chin is good. He's taken some very precise and hard punches and I've only seen him stunned. Pacquiao's KO losses have been caused by shots to the body.
Clottey dosen't have great power and he is not an active accumelative puncher to wear guys down. Nonetheless, he is a natural ww and has fought as a JMW so he probably has more power than pac is use to.
Shane Mosley is a better puncher and has speed and a chin; he is the only WW that i think has a chance making a competitive fight with pac. I wont count PBF since that fight will likely never happen
he wasn't testing his chin as much as he wanted clottey to punch so he can open up.
Nah, man. I think he enjoys it. I think he wants to show that he can tek poonches because PBF and Sr. always mention his KO losses.
