According to BoxeoMundial.net, Edwin Valero is going to make his move to LWW official and the WBC is going to place him as the first contender to Alexander's belts. It should be interesting to see how well he can perform against someone that seems to have all the advantages. I would be quite surprised if he beats Alexander, nevermind KO him.

Valero knocks him out cold. Unlike Urango he can close the distance and connect.
Wow. I think Valero is good, but let's calm down a little bit. Credit to him for expressing interest in this fight. But I've got Alexander the Great breaking Hugo's heart.
Very interesting fight... Alexander impressed me, I was going for my boy Urango but he showed grit and mad skills. Valero is a souless spawn of the devil though, Urango was tagging Alexander A LOT and Valero is 10000x faster and with enough pop to KO any mufukka. This fight could be trouble for Alexander, I have a feeling that if this fight is really in the works Alexander and his people will find a way to duck Valero.
He jumped ship to HBO??
Damn, I've been outta the loop w/ this guy. Sucks since Showtime built him up.
its been on the front page here. it might be a result of you not visiting NSB much, which i dont blame you, since its fukking groundhog day everyday here.
I wouldnt mind seeing that fight. I am really interested in alexander getting knocked the **** out one way or another.
lol why you hating on Alexander bro?
He is??
When did this happen?
He's fighting a non-title fight at 147 in June. It was announced yesterday. But all the reports that I've read say he's coming back down to 140 and that the fight at 147 is just a stay busy fight so that he's not inactive for too long.
lols... valero knows he needs to make his move soon to get the pac fight... but why don't he just call arum and tell arum to make the bradley fight? now bradley is moving up to 147...
all this shit is just stupid
Arum won't let Valero anywhere near Bradley just as he won't let Pacquiao anywhere near Bradley. Unless, of course, Bradley finds a way to become a big star. You guys should know by now that Arum only let's his fighter fight slick boxers if it's the biggest fight available to them. Otherwise, he avoids slick fighters like the plague.

as slick as alexander is, he's always in punching range and he has a high work rate, which opens him up to be caught in b/t shots.
tough to call. i think b/t alexander and bradley, valero would have a better chance vs alexander.

I'm sure Valero does want that fight. He seems like the type of guy who wants to fight the best. Unfortunately, Arum sees how much money he can make setting him up for a fight with someone like Pacquiao and will keep him away from slick boxers the way he did with Pacquiao.
