"WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley made it crystal clear to B-talk.com that he is ready, willing and able to face undefeated WBC/IBF champ Devon Alexander in his next fight. Bradley added that he would fight Alexander in St. Louis as long as the "numbers were right."
That's great and all....but i feel devon should take a tuneup first...being that in his last two fights hes fought top competition. he could use a tune up before getting in there with bradley IMO, it could be too much for him..like on a fernando vargas type of level to fight that competition at his age back to back with only 20 fights..just my 2 cents.
i'll take alexander UD, especially if the fight's in st louis. alexander's got the better, busier jab. he's the sharper, harder puncher....and he's a southpaw. bradley's hasnt faced a top southpaw (witter doesnt count cuz he's a switch hitter who fights like a scared toughman fggot)
I don't feel Alexander is quite ready for Bradley. He has just fought Urango. These two could do with beating up the rest of the good fighters in the LWW division then having a showdown. I would like to see Alexander take on Khan then Bradley but that is never going to happen.
Hats off to Bradley its hard not to like this guy, he taking on tough fight after tough fight! Id have backed him to win for sure but i havent seen the Alexander vs Urango fight yet so i dunno but looks like this will be a good scrap
Alexander vs Bradley would be one hell of a fight. Best 2 light welterweights in the world going toe to toe. Id see this being a close fight for the early rounds, but I think that bradley has got the better skills regarding smartness and speed to beat alexander, probably by UD
I heard that Bradley has a one more fight left with Showtime and Devon is now with HBO, so there is the business side that needs to be worked out. I want this fight next too, but something tells me that they will fight someone else and build this fight up more. But I would prefer this fight to be next...IN THE LOU, I'M THERRRRRRE!!!
