I'm not a Toney fan, but I hope he doesn't embarrass himself in the UFC. I'd much rather see Vitali beat his ass than a Randy Couture or whatever dude's name is.

Toney will win the fight by simply being a hell of a lot smarter than Couture. I box and do mma also, but a boxer first. Boxers can last, trust me. He just gotta fight smart and thats all ther is to it.

Couture may be 46, but his body is younger than Toney's, who is 41. Couture only started MMA professionally when he was 33-34. Couture is a world class wrestler. He won the gold medal in greco-roman wrestling at the 1991 Pan American Games. He's the master of the ground and pound in MMA. I expect Couture to stop Toney via the ground and pound in less than one minute. Couture wants Toney to feel it. Couture by grinder.

The difference is that boxing is an aspect of MMA and the boxer holds an advantage in that area so they have a puncher's chance. The MMA fighter, however, would have zero advantages and basically no chance.

Like i said in another thread. dana white wants to show the world mma > boxing. Two legends from each sport going at it. Toney will be the sacrificial lamb. If toney uses a boxing stance he's getting taken down easily. Ground n pound then it'll be a stoppage or sub win for the natural. There goes toney's mma career.
