I like doing the original 8 weight-classes style... Good shit...
I agree with every one. But, I me personal choice LW either B. Leonard or Duran. But, Gans was the man too so was Ike Williams and Whitaker. That division top 5 is so stacked. My goodness you can't go wrong with either one.

Sugar Ray Robinson was the best welterweight AND middleweight. Duran was the greatest lightweight. Ali heavyweight with Louis a close 2nd. Holyfield cruiser, not sure about LHW or super middle, obviously the latter is a tossup with Jones or Calzaghe, better fighter vs better resume (at that weight), Hearns at super-welter, Salvador Sanchez at feather (though I really haven't saw Willie Pep or a lot of other top contenders so who knows)
Heavyweight-Ali, no question.
Cruiser-Evander Holyfield.
Light Heavyweight-So many choices, I'll go Ezzard Charles.
Super Middleweight-Calzaghe did the best work, but Roy Jones was his very best at super middleweight.
Middleweight-Another division with a great number of choices, I'm partial to Marvin Hagler.
Junior Middleweight-Thomas Hearns
Welterweight-Sugar Ray Robinson, and he has a claim to middleweight as well.
Lightweight-Roberto Duran
Heavyweight- Muhammad Ali

I like your post. I agree with some, but I have to go with Sugar Ray Robinson @ MW; Aaron Pryor @ JWW; Roberto Duran @LW; Alexis Arguello@JLW;Sandy Saddler@FW and Carlos Zarate @BW...maybe Bob Foster @LHW, too...not sure, though.
Yeah Robinson can be at 160 and 147. From what I read he was much better at Welter Weight.
Yeah Zarate, Jofe and McGovern are basically interchangeable for Number 1 at Bantam.

I haven't seen all of those fighters, but you're acting like its improbable to have seen that many great fighters. Well the footage is out there if you ever want to watch it.
