Whom would you say has the best chin of the modern era - i would say Valuev - purely because the size of his head and how hard it is too hit, but of all time i would say Duran had one of the best chins i have ever seen from the videos of i have watched.

Valuev's chin isn't really that great. Haye stunned him, and even Ruiz stunned him. Best chins, modern day and all time: Oscar De La Hoya Shane Mosley Bernard Hopkins Ricardo Mayorga Muhammad Ali George Foreman James Toney Vitali Klitschko Manny Pacquiao Antonio Margarito To name just a few. Excellent list. Hagler is missing though. Battling Nelson is famous for being one of, if not the most durable boxer ever I believe. He might have been the toughest and most durable ever that's correct, but his chin wasn't particularly granite as he was KD'ed often. Not KO'ed mind you. Just KD'ed.

Battling Nelson is famous for being one of, if not the most durable boxer ever I believe. That might have been the trump card. Jake Lamatta would be one i'd throw up there. Clottey has a good chin for recent guys, cotto knocked him down but that looked off balance more than anything else.
