I don't think anyone on here rates Chavez Jr though.
He is what he is, a young, untested guy who had no amateur career, but is getting paid to fight the same guys he would've if he had.
You never really answered the question

chavez jr is to boxing , what taco bell is to real mexican food.
How is Porter over rated? By who?
He is a 22 year old undefeated prospect that has only been a pro for 14 months and is already 13-0. Yeah he looked less than stellar against a game, experienced southpaw who had a massive height and reach advantage. But he still controlled the fight and won easily.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fits the title of this thread but not Shawn Porter.

well sonsona is not over rated , Vasquez showed a lot of improvement and the weight adjustment imo just hadnt been there.
I think jacobs does it for me.
Also Gamboa is just way to hyped for a guy with a paper belt.
i know man...:notworthy

Yeah, after the De Leon fight.
De Leon had some serious power at JFW and JuanMa took him outta there in the blink of an eye.
Gamboa is getting all the hype these days, but I'm not giving up on Lopez just yet.
Sonsona
Chavez Jr
Shawn Porter
Danny Garcia
Luis Ramos
and especially
Juanma Lopez "peeleft:
Lopez is a two weight world title holder.
He left prospect status a while back.
I was going to say the same thing
Yeah Skillpaybills was hyping him before his first pro fight. He's not that bad, and I expect to see him contend for a title in the future. But so far he has been a bit of a let down.
