Mayorga is making his mma debut may 15 vs Din Thomas who is a UFC veteran. He has a solid record i think its like 25-8. So Mayorga is actually going into this against a guy capable of fighting it seems. Unlike people like Herschel Walker who fought a telephone pole worker. MMA followers what do you all know about Thomas? Is Mayorga going to get slaughtered?

MMA followers what do you all know about Thomas? Is Mayorga going to get slaughtered? Din Thomas is a very solid fighter, if Mayorga can time Din on a takedown attempt, catch him with a punch coming in, Mayorga wins. If Din gets it to the floor, he wins. Nothing Mayorga pulls off will shock me though, he is crazy enough to pull shit out if thin air. Never in my life did I see him beating down Forrest and then winning on points in the rematch (granted, Forrest was not at 100 percent). I am looking forward to seeing this fight.

Mayorga will always have a puncher's chance, but Din Thomas I believe is a Black Belt in Ju Jitsu and has fought BJ Penn and other top Lightweights (155lbs in UFC). Din takes him down, and the fight is over.
