you said shane has no chance burner, you're an idiot.
you are worthless saynig that floyd's resume is better tahn shane's i no longer respect your opinion at all, not ever one little but, you are a child.
Just Winky and Vernon (33-0, 34-0 rematch) absolutely crush floyd's resume. fuk off burner and stop riding another man's dik so bad
First off stop with the name calling. I haven't disrespected you one time I would appreciate the same in return.
Yes Floyds resume is better then Shane. You do know that Shane LOST all 4 of those Wright and Forest fights right? Since when do we count LOSES as a part of your resume?
I'm a child yet you use Vernon and Winky 4 fights he lost to tell me that Shane has a better resume then Floyd?
How does that work?
Does Zab Judah have a great resume?
Zab Judah's GREAT resume
Spinks 2-Win
Spinks- Loss
Floyd- Loss
Cotto- Loss
Clottey-Loss
Kosta-Loss
Bump to an Epic Thread.
He is not the G.O.A.T, but that sure looks like one of the best resumes of this era....:poke:

resume should be ONLY wins. I think its bullshit when ppl give a fighter credit just for stepping in the ring with a certain fighter, as if thats an accomplishment.
So you are another guy who has never been in a fight before. You learn a lot about yourself when you lose a fight. A lot of times more than you learn in an easy win.
I rate it like this.
Resumes are a fighters best wins, good wins, etc.
There level of competition is the level of fighters they fought throughout their careers.
For example:
Mayweathers resume
Diego Corrales
Oscar De La Hoya
Jose luis Castillo x2
Ricky Hatton
Arturo Gatti
Zab Judah
Genaro Hernandez
(not in any particular order)
Other notable wins are Carlos Baldomir, Jesus Chavez, DeMarcus Corley.
Mosley's resume
Oscar De La Hoya x2
Antonio Margarito
Fernando Vargas x2
Ricardo Mayorga
Luis Collazo
(not in any particular order)
There's probably a few more notable fighters in there also.
There resumes are closer than what alot of people think. I actually give Floyd a slight edge at the moment.
Now....The level of competition goes to Mosley hands down.
All the fighters i named above on Floyds resume are the best fighters he's fought and because he's never lost there are no big fights i left out.
Mosley however has lost to the likes of Forrest, Wright and Cotto which easily push Mosley ahead ( combined with the fighters i mentioned above on his resume) in the level of competition catergory.
Burner once called the man in your Avi overrated.
I used his resume, not his record to prove him wrong.
True Bradley is undefeated, but to call him overrated is crazy based on his recent body of work (resume).
Witter (in his back yard)
Holt
Campell
Peterson
Based on his recent resume (wins included of course), he is proven, not overrated.
I don't understand the argument in this thread. Yes, there is a difference between resume and record. Guys like Jermain Taylor do have really good resumes. If you wonder where the losses fit then, they fit in when talking about RECORD and where that record puts that fighter when talking about their career.
Oscar had a great resume, but since he lost like half his big fights he it is reflected in where you would place him when talking about the best ever. Jermain Taylor has a really good resume, but since he has lost so many fights by KO you don't talk about him as being one of the best ever.
How is that hard to understand? Pac has a great resume, and is talked about so highly because he has won so many of the big fights. Ali has one of the best resumes of all time, and is considered arguably the greatest because he won almost all of them.
Good post bro.

You know what, I agree with you some what (and some others in this topic), but as it has been stated many times record is different from resume.
I think I will just agree to disagree in this topic.

According to yall logic I present Oscars RESUME:
Hernandez
Chavez 1
Chavez 2
Whitaker
Camacho
Quartey
Trinidad
Mosley 1
Mosley 2
Gatti- Moved up in weight, I wouldn't count this.
Vargas
Sturm- You used Froch for Jermain, so why not?
Hopkins
Mayorga
Maywether
Pacquiao
So Oscar is the GOAT.
He is not the G.O.A.T, but that sure looks like one of the best resumes of this era....:poke:
lol. I would just say its wins because Im about to get ridiculous with it.
Jermain Taylor resume.
Hopkins 1
Hopkins 2
Pavlik 1
Pavlik 2
Winky
Ouma
Spinks
Froch
Abraham
Ward (ALMOST)...lol.
So Oscar has a better resume then Ray Robinson?
This is a bit of a deflection question.
You can not compare to different eras like that.
Does Oscar have the best resume in his era? I say yes. True he didn't fight Winky or Forrest, but he fought pretty much everyone else.
Oscar has a great resume. You can't dispute that...Can you?
Oscar RESUME> SRR RESUME according to their logic.
Oscar RESUME> SRL RESUME according to their logic.
Oscar RESUME> JCC RESUME according to their logic.
at some point losses have to count
:slap:@ dumbfucks
Oscar had/has one of the best resumes of his era...Does he not?
lol. I would just say its wins because Im about to get ridiculous with it.
Jermain Taylor resume.
Hopkins 1
Hopkins 2
Pavlik 1
Pavlik 2
Winky
Ouma- came up from 154, and was no real force. I wouldn't count that
Spinks- good fighter, but not at 160. I wouldn't count that eitherFroch- Close to not counting this, but Froch is proven as of late
Abraham
Still a good resume, but not better than Pacs.
ODH just fought alot of good fighters. He doesnt get credit for getting his ass beat. If thats the case Oscar has a better resume then Ali. Yeah asinine I know.
Jermain Taylor has a better resume then Pacquiao.
Win or lose, Oscar has one of the best resumes of his era. Period.
If you take away Hernandez and replace him with Judah, that sums up all of Floyd's best wins.....and they are good wins but in no way make up a great resume and forget about him being recognized as an ATG at this point.
You lost me right there.
I guess Floyd fighting Hernandez at 21 years old with 18 fights while he was a still a prospect is not a risk?
Fighting a 33-0 Corralles at 130 wasn't a risk?
Fighting Castillo in your first 135 Pound fight wasn't a risk?
Then having a close fight where some said he lost and then re-matched Castillo asap wasn't a risk?
Fighting Oscar at 154 Pounds with small gloves and a small ring wasn't a risk?
Why did Floyd call those gloves "pillows"?
