Khan deals with Valero with ease and here's the reason.
SPEED - not the drug, the attribute.
A few people have been trying to make out like valero would KO khan, and maybe he would, IF he ever caught him flush (or anyone else for that matter). BUT!.... he would never ever catch Khan. I'm no superfan but styles make fights and Khan could slip Valero with both hands behind his back.
Valeros problem:
First the Jab - It's painfully slow, and just hangs out there like harpoon. Khan would throw 1 maybe even two quick left hooks. Bang Bang!
Secondly the straight - His power shot, this requires a good jab to land on the best fighters... only a mug get hit with a straight without being set up properly.
Those who know khan will know we haven't seen him attack properly for the last four fights (under roach) this is not roaches fault but if we look at the details:
Fagan - comback fight, you expect Khan to be cautious.
Barrera - High risk, quite defensive fight needed breaking down with flurries
Kotelnik - Ultra defensive - BTW there's a moment in the 5th round when Kotelnik throws first and gets caught with a peach. Khan slips the punch like it's bullet time. Kotelnik nevers tries it again.
Salita - Over almost before it started.
I think we are yet to see the improved (by roach) warrior style of fighting Khan became famous for.
DISCLAIMER TIME.
Yes I'm a fan but I'm realistic, Khan is not on the level of Cotto, Mosley, Mayweather,... but he is very capable of beating Valero, Maidana, Malinaggi, and other similar fighters.....
let me know your thoughts.
Khan doesnt beat anyone with one punch ko power easy he may win the fight but at any point that egg might get cracked.
theres also a big possibility the fight might be over in 18 seconds, im serious, that happened once
tell me what "TIIIIMMMBAHHH" means so I can give you a good response.
I don't understand why I can't buy into the Khan hype?
Because you are not a fool. Believe nothing of what you are TOLD and half of what you see and you won't go far wrong. With Khan we are told what to believe. We have yet to see Khan in a tough fight where he has taken a prolonged beating. We don't know how he will fare in those kind of fights and if he will continue when it is obvious he is in for a long night. The type of fights he has had mean there are ???? and not enough answers. Until we see him in tough fights and how he fares why should you believe in him?
Khan will start having dejavu if he fights Valero.

wtf has khan done in his career to prove anything. shit least valero ran through his bums. khan got knocked out by one lmao. barerra was even hanging in there n khan was huge over the past his prime overweight barerra. valero would have stoped bareera that night
im so tired of these Khan threads. what gives you the evidence that he can beat valero...when he got knocked out by whats his face(prescott). let him atleast prove himself first.
It is hard to tell who would win this til I see them both face more meaningful challenges, but my first thought is that Valero would nail Khan to the canvas too.
I don't think khan's ready for valero at this point, he might be able to outbox him later when he is more experienced. But right now valero throws 92 punches a round and is hungry humanoid caveman.

Lumberjacks say "TIIIIMMMBAHHH" when they have cut down a tree and it is just about to fall.
I'm a Khan fan, quite a huge one supporting a fellow Brit, and I feel he has skills, but Valero has a lot of speed that people don't talk about and is accurate enough to get shots on Khan for sure.
Khan may win if he is much better and stays on the back foot, but for now, Valero's power and hunger is too much.
Valero needs to face some better names, but I feel has can prove himself.
Khan has speed, that is his main asset. He has a very good jab and reasonable pop. He does not have the greatest mind in the ring and what he does have going for him is not enough to take Valero out or keep him at bay. Despite Valero having low hands and open defense he is more of a predator and has a better boxing mind. I can see him stalking Khan down. I would expect Valero to win by KO after being outboxed.
