in terms of their place in history, and the legacy their triology alone created,i picked ali/frazier
that said, vasquez/marquez was fukkin incredible.loved gatti/ward too
Alll 3 fights in Vazquez-Marquez were terrific competitive fights, high skill level and drama. Bowe-Holyfield should be mentioned. Much, much better than Leonard-Duran. The third Leonard-Duran is one of the most boring big fights of all-time. The crowd started yelling "bullsh!t, bullsh!t" during the fight because it was so crappy. It was so boring and sh!tty that Leonard's next fight did terrible at the box office. The rematch wasn't exactly great either.
Bowe-Holyfield had 3 excellent fights and might actually be my favorite trilogy. Ali-Frazier had 2 classic bouts, but the rematch stunk.
Gatti-Ward should be mentioned as it had one great fight, which featured one of the more amazing rounds you'll see, and another pretty good fight in the rubber match.
The footage available, or what I've seen, of the fights in Zale-Graziano other than the 3rd one are terrible footage. I can't rank that since I haven't seen it.
Bowe-Holyfield and Vazquez-Marquez are rare in the sense that all 3 fights were very exciting and also pretty competitive.
Barrera-Morales hands down...i mean imagine if these to were heavyweights and the fight looked exactly the same. Wouldnt everyone agree also? They went nuts in their, gave it their all.
