Ricky Hatton on his comeback.

ricky is past his best and has nothing to prove,he should retire now with his legacy and health intact

I don't dislike Hatton, but no real desire to see him fight again. The 140 lb crowd is outta his reach. They'd all beat him at this point. The only one I'd see beating him is Bradley. And that's the fight I want to see, not JMM. Khan or Bradley.

If the drive and desire is still there and he still has his health then he should fight. To paraphrase the movie Rocky Balboa, it doesn't matter what anyone is saying, if it's something he feels he has to do then do it, he's a fighter and fighters fight. But having said that, he has to do it with no regrets and no finger pointing if he fails.

IMO Ricky has a choice of fighting JMM @140lbs or face Eric Morales @147lbs(if he win against Jose Alfaro this 3/27/10)

He is seriously selling himself short with the condition he gets in after fights, he looks 190 pds there ,sadly as a hitman fan i dont expect much out of him. Hes been doing that for a long time. He can still make a comeback, and there is still a long list of guys he can beat. I agree with most. His lifestyle out of the ring caused his in ring age to increase exponentially. He was already on the slide in his late 20s it seemed. When you consider the manner in which he lost his last few fights, the guy is definitely not who he was four years ago. Still, if he has the hunger to do it again, I fully support him.

I love Ricky Hatton he is a really cool dude and I do understand what he is saying about over training and how he doens't wanna end his legacy on a 2nd round KO. I can't wait for this comeback fight.
