Not that Demarco is known for one punch KO power... but he landed a few bombs and Valero just looked at him...
True but that in my book doesn't mean he has a iron chin or anything.I would call it solid at this point.
When Mosquera started landing on him he did go down altough recovered quickly.
I rather watch the Valero fight Humberto Soto next. I think that is next logical fight....
Soto, Marquez would all work. If he were to beat them then he would have to move up to 140 and fight "Bradley. IF he beats Bradley that will be the only way he can get Pacquiao. But Pacquiao may be retired by then
what r u gonna do about it? what r u gonna do about it? what r u gonna do about it? what r u gonna do about it? what r u gonna do about it? what r u gonna do about it?
do u miss me?
Funeka aint a good choice, not right now. A Katsidis fight would be the best move imo.

I mean he's got speed, power, combos, agility, a CHIN!!!!!!, stamina, heart... the dude seems to have it all... he seems to lack defense, but his chin makes up for it.
Crazy.
He actually has looked better and better with his defense but yeah he still lacks it. But its nice to see that he is definitely improving
But Edwin Valero is reedickyaluss.
I am a fan of THAT dude... that shit was incredible.
And he's not black so **** off :roy4:
He is definitely legit and I think him and Marquez would be a great PPV fight
shut up please

I'd like to see him fight Funeka as well. I believe he'd have a great shot at starching Funeka early, well at any point really, but Funeka would be a very difficult test. Funeka has good stamina and we all saw what he did to Guzman with the jab/right hand. Valero would get hit a lot unless he could take Funeka out.
I think he walks right through Katsidis and Diaz.
I think Tunney has black fighters just to mask it... I actually like Valero... and Rafael Marquez.
See it also proves that I like the hands down style.. its never about color... Valero was doing the hands down shit, and I like it.
shut up please
Valero is going to be around for awhile if he can get into the US and has a chance to play his cards...right or wrong, honestly.
He's got speed, so he throws punches in bunches when he attacks, and has mythological pop; although he's yet to show that power on 'the next level'. What that translates to is a fan-favorite sort of fighter. Not every guy in the ring has to be the most technical guy out there. Some boxing fans love to watch the technical gifts of a Mayweather, Wright, etc. But, as evidenced in recent years- some people really, really love brawlers and power. Gatti, anyone? He was always built on being a warrior who could bang.
At best, Valero might achieve that level, though with a bit more speed and skill that could, hopefully, let him be a fairly successful titlist.
Caveman surprised me with his ring generalship.. He uses alot of feints that pretty much keeps the opponents off balance and then lunges with rapid combos and then back out.. his footwork was superb too.
No reason to not give him the credit.... even if he steps up in comp, and gets beat... ill still be a fan... I like how he fights... he has heart
good post..green granted.
Valero is getting way too much love. Yes, it was impressive but lets wait till he steps up another level. His next step has to be one of the top 5 guys and I think that will tell us more about him. Lets put him in there with Guzman, Katsidis, or Funeka.

shi reed, i'm jumpin on hte wagon. no shame in it. dude brings alot to the table, and i'm glad he has finally gotten on tv so we can watch him. blood, guts, heart, **** man.....great for the sport.
Nah, Valero's ok in my book. I can't **** with what I saw last night. He may be one of the most unique fighters I've ever seen. In and out of the ring. The look he has cultivated alone makes him interesting. I mean, what a look!!! He may look weird outside the ring, but in the ring, all that shit comes together perfectly. The hair, the tattoo, the crazy look on his face, that shit just works.
I like the hands down style too. Martinez and Calzaghe are some of my favorites. I know you like non blacks reed, I just like messing with you about the black thing.
:D
:lol1: I was jokin with my friend last night when he coming to the ring... Im like look at this guy, he looks like he could be scarfaces bodyguard... i bet he has 3 AKs and a 10 keys of heroine in his closet :lol1:
Martinez is a beast.
Marco Antonio Barrera was the first one to jump on his bandwagon years back.... I remember reading some article were basically Barrera said that anyone that wanted to fight him should fight Valero first and if they win than he would fight them lol.
I'd say the chin is still untested. It shows to be decent so far but it's not like anybody with power hit him.If Pitalua hit him a few times than I'd say yes his chin is solid.
