Mosley is already talking about a rematch clause against Money so that alone tells you he's going in the fight not at 100% mentally. It shows doubt by saying something like that. What r yr thoughts?
ps: Will the fact Mosley is confirmed in the past to have done steroids be weighing on his mind?
You under-estimate Arum's mastery of the art of stupidity - his aptitude for it has no limits; and Schaefer isn't far behind. Between them, I'm sure they will have no problems in reaching new heights.
Oh yeah, it's not beyond them.
They were incredibly stupid to blow the negotiations but if they manage to blow the negotiations after Mayweather-Mosley, they would reach new heights of stupidity.

Im going to be 100 percent honest.
i only started betting when i saw silencers with bet after bet. i saw all these posters i respect with all these bets, look how long i been on here and look how much money i have, keep in mind, reed donated 1million too me.
i have NEVER bet, but now im going to, so i take it back.
Lolz. Cool man. Actually, 100,000 epoints that I got was also given by Tua as a donation.

:duh: :lol1::lol1:
I thought of that one also before they indeed managed to screw up the fight. Because of that, I'm holding back on this playing out before we got both fighters signature.

If Mayweather beats Mosley and that sets up a Pacquiao fight, I would think one side would budge one the testing issue. A huge fight would've been made huger, both sides would be incredibly stupid if they manage to screw that up.

Now, El. I thought you don't bet. :D
I think I read that somewhere... maybe Reed's unappreciated top posters list

Because Floyd can win the rematch and then Pac is stuck taking the tests again. Sure Pac can fight Mosley coming off a loss instead, but when will his fans get tired of the BS and demand he takes the tests?

if thats the case, then ill put 100k on mayweather.

Shane said there IS a rematch clause but he made it seem like Floyd was the one that asked for it. Shane was asked if he would Pac if he gets passed May and Shane said there is a rematch clause, so that shows how confident Floyd is about winning this fight...or something like that.
Different type of hunger. Mosley is hungry because it's one of his last shots, that's it. Floyd is not only hungry to win but he is hungry to defeat not only Shane but all his haters in one fell swoop. I see Mayweather facing more adversity and he performs best when more and more shit is hovering over him.
Maybe, we'll see. I'm just looking forward to the fight.
if thats the case, then ill put 100k on mayweather.
Alright. I didn't really want to make a bet on this fight because it's just a gut feeling but hey, why not? 1 bet. Good luck. :fing02:
Because if mayweather loses, the biggest fight for pac would be mosley, a fight that mayweather could stop.
i didint say his career would stop, but he could freeze pac out of an enourmous payday by enacting that rematch clause.
sure pac could fight someone else, but would it matter if mayweather and mosley could have a memorable trilogy in the process?
Think about pac/clottey, a fight with literally no buzz right now. Pac could get paid, but just like i saw in that movie casino, dudes like pac dont think of themselevs maing 15 million in a fight, they think of it as losing 35 million.
This being my opinion. you and me arent filthy rich so who knows.
and yes, while i wouldnt say **** floyd mayweather af 15 years, i wouldnt have any reason to come on here and justify his actions. thankfully, like i said, we gave him the benefit of the doubt and god willing he actually came through, and it was me who told you to keep the faith haha
Yeah but that's 1 fight though. It doesn't stop Mosley from fighting Pacquiao after the rematch assuming he wins the rematch. As I said, it's just 1 or 2 fights at the most where they'd be able to 'freeze' Pacquiao out of it. It really wouldn't be that big of a deal IMO.
Yep, you definitely told me to keep the faith. :beerchug:
:lol1: I think I've only really picked against Pacquiao twice in the past few years, doesn't look like I'll be picking against him anytime soon either.
I always felt that Mosley could've fought a better fight than he did against Cotto, there was always room for improvement there. He was still trying to power box his way to victory back then. I mean that was pretty much the only way he knew how to fight before he hooked up with Richardson. If that didn't work he'd lose more often that not. I know Mosley has trouble with fighters with good jabs and I'm sure Mayweather knows that as well. I'm putting faith in Richardson to be able to work with Mosley to make him a more complete fighter and not just try to power box his way to victory against Mayweather.
if thats the case, then ill put 100k on mayweather.
Never went against your analysis before Silencers except if the fighter you are predicting to lose is Pac. Mainly because he is a fellow pinoy. :D
Hmmm. Just rewatched Floyd-Coralles again, this is what I expect how this fight will play out minus the KD's and winning all the rounds. That entirely depends though on how Pbf can make Mosley respect him. Or his skills are back, the Jmm fight, IMO, is not really a gauge of his reflexes, skill now. In the Cotto fight, Mosley was hesitant to go in when Cotto was pumping that jab plus his lateral movement created problems for Mosley. Any thought?

Yeah but how much can they freeze Pacquiao out though? 1 fight? 2 at the most? Pacquiao's career doesn't come to a halt because of this rematch clause, he has other fights out there. Fights that aren't as big as the winner of Mayweather-Mosley but big enough fights that would still make him a substantial amount of money.
I was actually all ready to say **** Floyd Mayweather had he not signed for the fight with Mosley. But I held off. :D

This reminds me of that kid who was talking like Baldomir destroyed Clottey but hadn't even watched the fight. :lol1:
lol one of the boxrec warriors, after the abuse he got I think its fair to say he'll do some proper research next time haha
So you're the one who took the username I wanted haha
lol sorry man!
I know this though Silencers. I believe mayweathers advisers when they say they are coming after the best, because his only choices are really mosley, pacquiao, possibly berto and maybe bradley. those are the only directions he can go, just because he might have reached out to bullsh!t fights like hatton/campbell/malignaggi, they never happend, so i dont concern myself. i am naive also as i admitted to you in the past.
also, i think you are making a whole lot out of nothing, right now its still a good, even fight, i see nothing that indicates that neither fighter has any sort of mental advantage, especially since mayweather is on espn/nfl network/sky sports where he has to be tame.
come 24/7, press conference/boxing media time, we will see a different mayweather like we always do.
It is an even fight, I really think this is a 50/50 fight but I just have a feeling that Mosley will pull it off is all.
We'll see if I'm making something out of nothing, you could be right.
I have a feeling Mosley is going to win. He's saying the right things, he seems rejuvenated now with a new head trainer, he's almost as quick as Mayweather, he is more powerful than Mayweather, he's bigger than Mayweather, Richardson will come up with a gameplan, Richardson is no miracle worker but he is a very good trainer. And the signs leading up to the fight has me feeling that Mosley is hungrier for this fight than Mayweather.
