Joe Rogan Admits MMA Fighters Aren't On The Same Level as Boxers

Boxing and Kickboxing are the real art of street fighting. There should always be a distance between you and the opponent. Try putting me in a submission and I'll either gouge your eyes or hit you in the groin. Jiujitsu as a martial art is completely different from jiujitsu as a sport. Just as muay thai as a martial art is completely different from muay thai as a sport. The real goal of jiu jitsu is not to land a submission hold but to neutralize an attacker's physical weapons like punches or kicks in order to punch them in the neck or gouge their eyes out.

They will let go of it quicker than when they were tying to go for it.

ESPN with Lou DiBella and Brian Kenny he was tearing into boxing, he DID say he was a fan but he was saying that MMA fighters are more complete fighters at the highest level of ALL aspects of fighting. I don't know why he would say that. Are you sure that's what he meant? Any person can see the boxing skill level in MMA is shit.

Any time I've heard him talk about this he's admitted it. He's a boxing fan. The reason he prefers MMA is that it encompasses more types of fighting. That's kind of why I hate MMA. Jack of all trades, master of none.
