I know ur mad cus he isnt fighting Maidana next but a fight against JMM is also very good. If he decides to fight Maidana/Bradley after the JMM fight its all good in my opinion. This is the Valero era. Khan is toast should he decide to step up the competition against a guy of Valero's stature. He probably will too, Khan is about 6 miles taller than Valero.

Just as he backed off the Prescott and Barrera rematches and avoided British and European titles and is avoiding the mandatory Maidana I don't see him ever taking on the key players. I just see lots of talk and spin. When all is said and done I think we will see him financially set and a record of sub par opposition with everyone feeling ripped off. That may be your idea of boxing success but it is not mine. By then you will be the one feeling like a bitch because the excuses you made for him will make you look ridiculous. Khan will beat Marquez IMO.. he just needs to avoid getting KTFO.

khan should win a close decision but imagine if he looks more impressive than floyd did.

The thing is that Khan should beat Marquez because he's a good young fghter with a lot of hand speed, stamina, and power while Marquez is a 36 year old veteran counter puncher. This fight is GBP/HBO's way of protecting Khan. Marquez is still a good win for anybody though, I won't discredit Khan. But I think Marquez can beat Khan.

You can definitely go wrong, a good smack on the chiny can change all that, lets just wait until khan gets into the ring with elite guys, i think he will do well but once your chin is suspect it normally comes back to haunt you at some stage......

This welter division is full of hunter you either do the hunting or you get hunted!! Khan does a pretty good job of avoiding fighters and even manages to do it in mandatory situations. The only thing I can see that will force Khan to fight one of the "hunters" you mention will be because he holds a title and will be forced to fight. The Marquez fight might happen because Golden Boy has both fighters and for them it is win win whoever wins. They have only got a 3 fight deal so should not be into the long term padding policy Warren was working. Other than than that I don't see Khan really stepping up that much despite the talk.He was talking big before.
