Who do you think would win between Mayweather and Pacquiao during their featherweight days? I think Mayweather would win because he was quicker and stronger than he is now. In my opinion his 126-140 days were his best. Although his defense wasn't as great, it was still very good and he also had more offense in his arsenal. I could see Pac chasing him and trying to pressure him all night, while getting countered for nearly every punch with the decision being 116-112 decision in favor of Mayweather. I see Floyd throwing around 250 punches and Pac throwing about 330, with Floyd landing 150 and Pac landing about 80-90. I can also see Floyd controlling him with his jab and possibly dropping him if he lands the right shot (in my opinion Floyd was stronger and more accurate than JMM at featherweight, who seemed to hurt Pac a lot with his counters).
I think this would be more action packed than it would be at 147. Their would even be a slugfest possibility in some rounds since Floyd was more willing to trade at that weight.
Mayweather knocks out Pacquiao. It's as simple as that.

Against Floyd that is a knockout. Floyd had 200x more power at 130-140 than when he is at 147+.
if you will watch some of pac's old fights way before his first fight in the US, he uses his right hand.
Not when it was against top competition....did you see Marquez/Pacquiao 1?
I think we can all agree that Mayweather would win and possibly stop him at 130, but what about 135 and 140? Pac only had one fight at each of those weights but he looked as amazing as he did in the Cotto fight (probably better). I'd still pick Floyd though. Pac added more tricks to his arsenal but Floyd was still quicker and used his offense more than he does now. 135-140 was definitely Floyd's prime because he learned how to adjust to brawlers who could cut off the ring better (this is why I said his defense wasn't as good at 130) and adjusted to fighters very well. Just look at Castillo II, N'Dou and Gatti. Especially the Gatti fight...that literally had Bob Arum and Cotto shitting on themselves and ducking him for a year or two.
KO'd....he would get hit way too many times at 130.....Pac at 130 is not in floyds league at 130......147 is a different story.........
That's alright, where ATG status is concerned, Floyd is not in Pac's league.
Well depends on which PAC and Mayweather you are talking about?
The old jab jab left hook Pac would definitely lose to Mayweather...The new Pac IMO would beat/KO Mayweather right now.
IMO Mayweather reached his peak before he retired and that JMM fight shown he might be at a slight downslope(didnt knock out a fat slow blown up LW) and Pac is reaching/at his peak of his career.
If both fighters were to fight in their Prime would be great and close match but I still will go with my boy Pac.
I AGREE 100% with the BOLD.........
At 130, Floyd beats Pacquiao soundly. No KO, but Pacquiao was a face first brawler at 130. Look at how he performed against Marquez. When Marquez backed up and boxed him instead of trying to engage, he beat Pacquiao pretty handily. And Floyd is clearly the slicker counterpuncher between the two. He would hammer Pac-Man, and at that weight, Floyd was a pretty good puncher. Pacquiao would get hurt, maybe even dropped once or twice on the way to a wide UD.

relevance???
It's not. Pac didn't evn have a right hook at 130. A southpaw Pac without a right hook and one money punch at 130 beating Floyd Mayweather at 130.....keep smoking the good stuff.
Pac fought at 130 less than two years ago, and yes, he had developed a right hook by then.
I'd say Floyd edges him at 130, but since he never fought at 126 and has shown a reluctance to weight drain himself, I'd give Pac the edge at 126.
how many quick southpaw did floyd face at 130?
That doesnt have shit to do with anything... Manny was way more left hand dependent at 130lb then he is now (though he still kinda is)... at 130 floyd was not only defensive but also offensively inclined, threw the jab, combinations, and had one punch KO power... He would crush that version of Pacquiao

Anyone that remotely even comes close to thinking the super featherweight version Floyd even comes close to loosing to the super featherweight version of Pacquiao should be banned from this site and shot.... the 130lb Floyd would absolutely destroy the 130lb version of Pacquiao not even a close fight
Honestly it is actually so obvious a 130 Floyd would actually crush Pac @ that weight.
It's much predict what happens at 147 IMO..........

He would def KO him at the lower weights!!!! io've seen plenty of Pac fights at those weights....some more than once or twice.....he did not have the tools at 130 to even touch floyd.
Exactly! Floyd was an animal @ the lighter weights
Floyd ko's Pac @ 130 and 135! Decisions him @ 140 and 147!
