Cotto was a Welterweight fight???? thats news to me
Was old news, sister. To keep you further updated, PAC-Floyd was suppose to happen this March but Floyd chickened out.
Just facts people.
145 Pound Cotto
147 Oscar
Pac has been there about a year, Floyd has been there since 2005
145 1/4 sharmba mitchell
145 1/2 Zab Judah
147 Carlos Baldomir
145 Ricky Hatton (spent most of career at 140, sucked at 147)
142 JMM (spent most of career at featherweight, limited lightweight experience, had to gain 12 pounds for this fight with limit of 144......Floyd came in at 146)
What point were you trying to make?
Just facts people.
145 Pound Cotto
147 Oscar
are u nuts? Mosley is old and slow now.
Mosley cant chase Fraud throughout in 12 rounds, we all know that Fraud fights like a chicken. What legacy can u build from a chicken-style fighting??:hitit:
I thought that fight didnt count...
He doesnt get credit for the win. But its still on his resume and that win does not stand up to Floyds WW resume.
Baldimir was better then the Oscar Pac fought.
cotto and clottey in 4 months.
i'm sorry but that's tougher than sharmba , zab , baldo , hatton , marquez , mosley in 5 years.
He fought Oscar at WW.
Thats not 4 months.

I assume youre not counting DLH at 147 over a year ago..but youre starting Pacs WW with Cotto at 145?
and if youre being logical Floyd has only fought at welter actively for 2 1/2 years..now if you want to count his retirement then yes 4 years..stop hanging on to everything other posters say..lol
cotto beat mosley and clottey is better then judah and baldomir so in my opinion even with a win against mosley if pac can beat clottey his resume at ww is still better then floyds.
Makes sense...........
I read the question wrong...
Mayweather: Hatton, Judah, Mosley, Baldomir
Pacquiao: Cotto, DLH, Clottey
I think you could give Floyd the edge...its close tho...Shane is past his prime...and Cotto might not be the same fighter...Baldomir is weak though...and Judah is too...Clottey's a solid name...

C'mon Burner:lol1:...I think there resumes at WW are about even...Floyd fought Baldomir, Judah, and Hatton...Pac fought Cotto, washed up DLH, and soon Clottey...
Baldomir is meh...Judah and Hatton are good opponents...Cotto was in the top 5 P4P and Clottey is a solid name...
Cotto was forced to weigh 145 Pounds after a Brutal beating from Marg and almost losing to Clottey.
Oscar was weight drained.
Those are this only wins.
So how is Pacs WW resume better then Floyds?

145 Pound Cotto
147 Oscar
Pac beat Cotto who beat a younger prime Mosley. If not for the Haiti disaster resulting Berto's pulled out of the fight leaving Floyd no other choice and forced to fight Mosley to save his face plus Mosley being grandpa now.
135 champ Pac moved two weight division above and beating Oscar to death without winning a single round while Floyd almost lost to him thats why he ducked the rematch despite of the huge amount of money involved >>>>>>135 old champ JMM forced to move up two weight division above and fought the pussy waiting there who did not honor their weight contract agreement.
140 champ Hatton forced to move up at 147 out of his comfort zone to fight Floyd waiting at his comfort zone >>>>>>> 147 Pac after the Oscar fight moved down to 140 to fight hatton's comfort zone where he was undefeated then and ko him just in two. Did you see the difference? I know you don't flomo.
