What sense does it make to draw up a contract, accept it, now want to renegotiate?

Floyd would get credit... Is actually Floyd fans who make it hard to give Floyd credit cuz they keep saying how bad of a fighter Shane is and how tailor made he is for Floyd... But, everybody else knows Shane is a legit top WW and would give Floyd credit... They always do that to legit opponents of Floyd and make lesser opponents look like legit threats (JMM). Flomos can't make up their minds.

But to be honest am anxious as well and people have the right to feel iffy about the situation, We have soooo many fights that has fallen through in the last 24 months over little things. Considering that Floyd made 1m ppv fighting Marquez, Floyd can still make the same amount of money fighting someone else and giving whoever he wants a flat fee and getting all the PPV.Mosley simply doesnt deserve a good payday,he sits on his ass for 15months doing nothing.Some people put effort in their brand like Manny and Mayweather.If you dont have a power base go and find one.Mayweather took a risk doing dancing with the stars and training for a fight,wrestling matches,charity events,all those things add up.Just coming with your divorced ass (my apologies but that's all Shane has) and expecting a huge payday is wishful thinking.Life is not like that. Did Mayweather and Pacquioa have a valid contract and could Mayweather have sued?I assume all these negotiations are done by lawyers,why they never sued is difficult to know but it's not always easy to prove. probably in the name of professionalism and diplomacy. Even if a verbal agreement is broken it's almost always easier to re-negotiate than to take it to court. Plus since there's only so many top fighters and top promotion companies they're still going to have to work with each other. And it's going to suck having to work with the guy you're getting sued by.

$15 million flat fee plus the back end of the PPV with gate fees is way too much for Shane. A flat fee of $8-10 million, gate fees, and the back end of PPV is more than enough for Shane. But, they already agreed to 15mil flat fee plus the back end of the PPV... and, that is it... And, to be honest we don't know what the PPV# that they have agreed upon... If they agreed to 1.5mil buys and the event only does 1.4 then Shane does not get anything from the PPV... But, that is beyond the point cuz Shane already signed for the 15mil flat... What other options does Floyd fight if he does not go through with this? That is my only question here that still has not been answered....
