Best Division in Boxing: Junior Middleweight

i would take 147,140, & 168 before 154. 126 & 118 is also getting exciting. 147 is on the downslide

I disagree with 154 being the best division. IMO, it's 118.

When cotto beats foreman, the 154lbs division will be great

Williams is the WBO Champ at 154. Kirkland is a 154 Pounder. Cotto is a 154 Pounder. Clottey is also about to move up. That would be Sergiy Dzinziruk, with Angulo being the interim. Williams was never the actual champ of any belt at 154, though he did hold the interim WBO for a while after his fight with Phillips. You do realize winning the interim belt does not give you any claim whatsoever to call yourself "CHAMP" at that weight? 140, 147 and 168 are all better divisions that 154.

Actually 147 has the big names now and 140 also has a couple of good guys.... but I want this year to be the year of the 154.... they deserve there time to shine and and get the media exposure and the pay days. And the Williams/Martinez fight was the intro of what I expect to see, or well actually hope to see.

Since when is Clottey in that division? I'll have to go with the light welterweight division, on this one. agreed. there's a few interesting matchups at 140. at 147, there's a combination of only 3 guys..... at 154, there's no real buzz. never been really. it's the twilight zone btw. 147 and 160. i also like the SMW division.

Welterweight has the top 3 P4P fighters. Pac, Mayweather, Mosley. I'll take quality over quantity.

Too many of them are "what ifs" and guys that haven't even fought at the weight yet. Right now it looks promising. But to be honest, I think by the time we think it'll really heat up, most of those guys will be at Middleweight. Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, Henry, Williams, Martinez.....will all be Middleweights. The kids like Angulo, Lara, Kirkland, and Henry...they'll probably win a belt at JMW, make a defense or two than move up. So in reality, I think the future at Middlweight looks great. I get what you're saying though.
