Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach has made no secret of the fact that bad feeling remains against Mayweather after he failed to agree a compromise of no blood test within two weeks of the fight.
"(Pacquiao) is disappointed the fight is not here," Roach told ESPN.
"Life goes on without Mayweather. He wouldn't agree to (a limit of) 14 days before the fight. We did our best to appease him but he wouldn't go along with it. It was a smoke screen for him to say no."
It contradicts this:
Bruce Binkow, the chief marketing officer of Golden Boy Promotions, on Dec. 30 offered a 14-day cutoff as a compromise via instant message to Top Rank president Todd duBoef, who replied on Dec. 31 that “14 is no good.”
Schaefer said he believes the fight can be salvaged over the weekend and the first step is making certain that Pacquiao is aware of Mayweather’s 14-day offer. “There are reports that Manny is not aware of this and we want to make certain that he knows what Floyd has agreed to do,” Schaefer said.
However, Koncz said he was informed of the offer by promoter Bob Arum and that he brought it directly to Pacquiao, who would not even consider it. Koncz said Pacquiao was very firm in his decision.
“Bob called and told us about the 14 days and I brought that to Manny and he said, ‘I told you, we’re not agreeing to that,’ and that was pretty much it,” Koncz said.

Mayweather ducked Pac.
:lol1:
I love bring up all these past lies from Team Pac.
I wonder how many people that are calling FMJ a coward, "duck" and afraid to fight Pac, will turn it around now and say Pac did the same. He had the 14 day offer and not only did he reject it, but his team lied about it and tried to say it didn't happen. THEN, waits until the fight has been taken off the table &FMJ has doubled his last PPV and gate to agree to the same offer. Seems like Floyd made ALL the big concessions to make the fight and Pac made almost none. So who wanted the fight again?
It seems to me that they've been lying from the jump, Arum and Roach. They lied about floyd suggesting the fight happen at 154(May's camp came out and said that was rediculous), they lied about agreeing to olympic style drug testing(they may have misunderstood what that encompassed but... I don't think so), they lied about the 14 day proposal, and they may have lied about the may camp wanting heavier gloves if they said that i'm not sure if that rumor just came from internet banter.
I've read that too but you gotta remember, all these guys are Spin Doctors. They say things in ways that ALWAYS makes them look better than the other guys.
The quotes are directly from Manny's camp? why would they lie about themselves?
Agreed!!!!!
What we see Team Pacman doing now is DAMAGE CONTROL - because each of them stated something different from the other during the pseudo-negotiations. And with the mediation judge coming out publicly to state that Team Pacman are misrepresenting the fact to the public ... their credibility {What little they had} is in the toilet.
I don't believe any of them ...... Especially since Arum is now having his fighters fight at Dallas stadium ...... and during pseudo-negotiations Mayweather insisted on Vegas. Which would have screwed up the secret deal Arum was making with J.Jones.
Your post is way off. The judge said both sides lied.
Mannys career is still strong.
Manny has the p4p throne, HBO support, millions of fans, new fans spreading like wildfire, Jerry Jones and his stadium, its the good life for Manny.
Floyd on the other hand has a lawsuit to battle and pressure to fight a real welterweight. This can be floyds toughest year or he can duck. But this time if he ducks he will duck into debt and a bad rep.

After the mediation was already over did he offer 14 days......Not during the mediation..

dont believe roach or arum at this point
I take everything they say with a grain of salt, I also take everything Mayweather and his camp say because they are also known liars.
I think this fight was being pushed by the fans and they felt obligated to try to make it work, things went on too long then both parties decided it was best to renegotiate at a later date. If the fight was signed first week of January they would have had to do a 2 day press tour and train for 7 weeks. No way either guy wants to rush into a fight against the other best fighter in the world p4p.
Freddie Roach must have forgot that Bob Arum said Mayweather offered the 14 day limit but Manny rejected it

What does it matter?
The lies Pacs camp may have made are related only to negotiations which just means Roach is brainstorming out loud.
The lies from GBP and Money camp are straight up accusations and bitch talk. They made statements to hinder Mannys career. They committed a crime. Hence lawsuit.
Arum has been called out on his lies already and had to admit Mayweather made the 14 day offer. I don't understand but Team Pac is defo not signing off the same hymn sheet. I am honestly not 100% sure that Manny was made aware of the 14 day thing or what but it seems that they have been inconsistent with what each other are saying and to me that is a sign of them making up excuses for why they didn't want the fight.

I read that article and I was also confused. I thought Mayweather's team offered the 14 day cut off at the beginning of the negotiations with the mediator but it was refused by Manny's team. I just read in the Sun that Roach said Mayweather declined. Here is the article:
