A win would only make the debate with Pac-Man relevent again, i am a big fan of Floyds, however he hasn't been active enough or that exciting since his return. I honestly believe he is 3rd in the WW division and 3-4 on the p4p list. So NO a win wouldn't make him #1 IMO but a candidate!
As far as I am concerned, they can clean up all of boxing and it won't matter. TBH I don't care if Floyd becomes #1 after beating Mosley. It doesn't tell me anything. I will know the #1 after Floyd and Pacquiao finally meet :cool2:
Nope. he will become the lineal WW again though
I dont think think he will be lineal WW or No. P4P after beating Mosley, imho he has to beat PAC to attain those two achievements ...
BUT Definitely after he beats Mosley, Floyd will earn No. 1 WW status and stronger argument for p4p no. 2 spot and definite challenge to no. 1...
I think a win over Mosley puts him back at #1. What do you guys think?
I depends, he would have to completely domintate Shane to have a chance. And even if he does, he will need Pac to lose to take that number 1 spot.
Do you think the ppv numbers for the upcoming fights will cause a problem in negotiations for the next fight (Pac vs Floyd). The numbers will be skewed because of the opponents Clottey and Mosely and assuming both Pac and Floyd wins. (ODH earned $52 million in his fight with Mayweather.)
Pacquiao-Marquez II did 405,000
Mayweather-Marquez did 1 million
Pacquiao-Hatton did 850,000
Mayweather-Hatton did 920,000
Mayweather-ODH did 2.4 million
Pacquiao-ODH did 1.3 million
Pacquiao-Cotto did 1.25 million
who is tougher, Mosley or pacs last 4 opponents...i say mosley
Cotto was damn near him though, hard to say though we haven't seen Mosley in a year...long time for a 38 year old.
If Mayweather beats Mosley impressively, yes, he is P4P #1, and if Pac thinks differently then step up and do something about it. Besides crying like a bitch over needles
Dude, stop hatin for a second will ya. It's about Floyd and when did Manny ever mentioned or complained about the p4p rating, they put him up there, he didn't asked for it.

Have to beat #1 to be #1. Plain and simple.
BTW, if Manny lose to Clottey and Floyd wins, Floyd will be #1. If Manny wins Floyd lose, Mosley will be #2, and Floyd retires. If both Manny and Floyd wins, stays the same. If both Manny and Floyd lose, Mosley becomes #1, Manny #2, and Floyd retires.
then pacq aint the number 1 p4p champ. his claim is by default ONLY!
Have to beat #1 to be #1. Plain and simple.
But he'll definitely have a stronger claim to P4P#1 status if he beats Mosley in a more impressive fashion than Cotto did.

of course not, he would be #2 if pacman beats clottey. pacman is #1. floyd is #2 so if he beats #2 he would take his position. if in case pacman was beaten by clottey then he will be # 1 and pacman will go to # 2
