ouma won that fight easy..............and rofl at anyopne thinking vanes landed more........ouma made him miss with classic african upper body movement......ouma couldnt miss with his jab and his straight........pathetic head omvement by vanes......and pathetic gameplan by freddie roach........ i dont think it was freddie's fault. we didnt get to hear what was said in the corner, but from what was relayed by the commentators, he told vanes to circle to his left to set up the right and quit running. he also told him to throw more one two's. vanes kept circling to his right, he kept running and he didnt unleash one two's til late in the fight. vanes just isnt that good. dude runs like a boxer but he's not a boxer. he shouldve been fighting like a boxer/puncher all along. his running and unnecessary footwork was annoying. there couldnt have been two different ring demeanors. ouma's cool and relaxed while vanes fights like a spazz. you cant think in the ring and apply your trainer's directions/strategy when you fight like a spazz.

without the kd th fight could have gone either way and i would not say anything, but with the kd you have to give ouma the nod. I had Martirosyan winning 6 rounds to 4, so he won by 1 point with the KD on my card. I could see Ouma getting winning by 3 points easily too (6 to 4), but anything more than that either way I think is pushing it...

it was a closer fight but the right guy got it. too bad the didnt have compubox. vanes landed much more than ouma. suprised how well ouma ate leather. some of you obviously didnt keep score. true if it was on hbo and people saw the numbers i think they would accept vanes did much better then what people think

Correct most of his shots landed on the gloves. He also landed some good shots as did Ouma. I watched the fight on TV also. The problem with Ouma was he disappeared for large portions of rounds. If Ouma landed 2 decent punches and Vanes landed 20 OK shots with 60 shots being blocked I have the round to Vanes. BS scores. i had ouma winning by a point. the KD made the difference. not a fan of vanes' style at all. there's nothing subtle about it all. he throws big shots, when he moves he runs, he doesnt know how to set up his shots, no jab, etc. he fights like a spazz. he's gotta cut out all that extra BS in his style if he wants to be anything special in this sport. p-will, martinez, angulo, alcine, cintron all KO him and foreman outboxes him rather easily.

The judges definitely had it too wide, but Vanes was landing the cleaner, more effective punches in most rounds and deserved to win. Ouma had a big advantage in experience, having fought far better opposition than Vanes, and that showed during the fight. But Ouma seemed hurt and very tired in the last 30 seconds of the 10th, I think if it had been a 12 round fight, Kassim would have been stopped. This fight gives Vanes valuable experience he's going to need at the highest level. unfortanuly i have to agree cause it was times kassim was out of gas. still f-in bullshit that it was that wide

WOW!!!!!!!! What a ripoff, lol.......what is up with the crap decision. They had him winning by like 4 or so rds, not the same fight I saw. This is the next year of paid off judging in boxing after last years fiascos- more money to be made off of Matirosyan than Ouma I guess Sad, a win is fine but not by that wide of a margin That's exactly my thoughts.....very poor judging.At best it should have been a SD....I'm getting tired of these business investments getting the nod when their opponents work their butts off as well.

Vanes landed the cleaner, harder punches all night, round by round you could make a case he won no, he landed alot of shot on the gloves. if u watched a stream than i could see how you may have missed it, but the tv shows it clearly. vanes got a gift.
