Why has Mosley been on HBO WCB 3 times in a row?

Only a couple fighters (Oscar, Floyd, Pac) can generate 500k-1Mil buys these days. A flop would be like Calzaghe-Jones, which did 190k WITH a 24/7 to hype it.

mosley is a exciting fighter in the ring but out of the ring he doesnt seem to have a big personailty,so he needs someone to hype him up but no one ever does,you got floyd who runs his mouth and people want to see him,some one him to loose and some want him to win either way he sells,then you got manny a very nice and humble guy with a exciting style,he stays quiet but hes got roach and arum always promoting him and putting his name in the lime light,i do feel sorry for shane but he has made bad choices in his career,lets hope he beats berto and then gets ppv with floyd because if he losses then he will start all over again and hes getting old now

Yea, 350 K is not a flop at all. But to answer the question....Mosley is a name, not a draw. I really think it has more to do with the fact that he has fans, but he doesn't have passionate fans. Guys like Pac, Cotto, and Tito have countries behind them. Floyd stirs up controversy and knows how to create interest. DLH had an endearing story and was a gold medalist. Shane doesn't have anything like that. But I do think his draw is somewhat underrated cause his ratings on WCB are usually solid. But that's what seperates him from the others....When he's fighting for free, people hear the name Shane Mosley and turn on HBO. When he's fighting on PPV, he doesn't have those passionate fans that are willing to shell out $50 to watch him fight. Same with Hopkins and Winky.

the reason mayweather is a bigger draw then mosley is because mayweather runs his mouth and sells his fights, and mosely never says any thing crazy or interesting to the media. So he appears boring while mayweathers voice brings soo much excitement

F*ck PPV. I'm glad we didnt have to pay for any of those because paying $65 to watch a fight is a bitch. There should be no PPV just like in the old days. I wish it was like that too but hey look at 2009, only 3 PPVs. There was fights in 2009 that were free and would have been PPV in 2008. So far this year will look the same. Only Hopkins-Jones, Mayweather and Pacquiao fights would be on HBO PPV. We have the Showtime tourney for free, Berto-Mosley for free, and i'm sure down the year we'll get more free shit. By free I mean HBO/Showtime subscription of course.

The only guys who draw in all of their fights from the 90s to now were Tyson, Holyfield, Oscar, Tito, Floyd, and now Pacquiao.
