Schaefer was acting all professional
Roach was open to a 5 day testing period
Money was keeping a low profile, Ellerbe also
Oscar was also laying low
Manny was in the Phillipines
Mad Bob was throwing insults left, right and center when he didn't get his way...always running to the media.....
How can anyone sane work with this old man?
Exactly,
"take this fight with the blood testing or I won't fight".
Whos scrambling for an opponent now?
Let's be clear, Arum/Pac and GBP/PBF only care about the money...People who really think one fighter is scared of the other only feed the hype...
AGAIN...Pac isn't scared of PBF and PBF isn't scared of Pac...This is the perfect opportunity to ridiculously hype their fight in the FAll - Six months of solid promotion, plenty of back and forth with people popping blood vessels in forums...
Yup...fellow SHEEP, we've been had :)
They're both going to clear 10million plus for two bullsh!t fights before they fight in September.
Pac shouldn't be wasting his time fighting Clottey - A boxer who lost to a fighter in Cotto that PAC beat the dog piss out of!!!
PBF shouldn't be potentially fighting Campbell either because it is also a bullsh! fight.
Both will do an excellent job hyping their upcoming fights all while continuing to set up their future fight...So we're looking at approximately 9 months of promotion...They'll have everyone talking about the fight make tons of money and walk off into the sunset.
Only fights either of them should be considering...
Tim Bradley 140 champ
Mosely/Berto 147 winner
PWill - For PBF...He's way to tall for PAC and would kill him.
Pac - Could possibly take on the potential challenge of Yuri at 154 but I think he'd be biting off a little more than he could chew as I think 147 is his ceiling.
So PAC and PBF will get taken to task by me until they fight a fighter of merit as I refuse to continue being a SHEEP - BAAAAAH BAAAAAAH!!!
....But I'll still watch them fight :)...BAAAAAH BAAAAAH!!!!
i don't even think manny was the one that started the needle phobia statements. i think it might have been koncz. not sure.
It was Arum who was quoted as making the statement publicly.
It got out of hand when nobody from Team Pacquiao stepped up to disprove it.
What does that tell you?
Things were going smoothly until Schaeffer blew off the Cowboys stadium
That was the turning point!!!!!!!
The blood tests {even though the tests were in the contract, from the beginning} was kept low-profile until Shaeffer blew off Dallas stadium ....... then all hell broke loose on the blood.
Ultimatums never work and Mad Bob was throwing them around....and he went to the media first complaining about the stadium issue!

Actually in Lady Fans own thread, most of the board voted (84%) THat 2 weeks is reasonable to make the fight happen. Pacs own (unbiased) fans agreed.
Two weeks may be reasonable,
but there isn't a need for the test in the first place.
The reason this fight isn't happening, is the same reason why Floyd vs. Margarito, Cotto, and Shane never happened.
Floyd never wanted it. He only wanted to create the illusion he was tough enough to take the most challenging fights.
His resume at 147 says otherwise.
Now, if he didn't have the history he does at 147,
nobody could really question his motives.
But as it stands,
Pacquiao is facing another top 5 welter in less than a year,
while Floyd, in the five years in the division,
has avoided them.
Let's not forget Arum was the only one setting up deadlines to call the fight off, then continuing with negotiations.
Manny is to blame for never stepping out in the media to shoot down his needle phobia statements.
actually team mayweather started the mudslinging in the media first.
that said , arum takes a lot of the blame as well.
arum did not like the idea of golden boy not even considering cowboy stadium.
arum and jerry jones shares a lot of friends.

it's been discussed enough times already and 95% of the time fans agree it was floyds fault. life continues though, it was mayweather who needed this fight for his legacy, not pacquiao. pacquiao has already sealed and secured his.
