I could not have said it better. BUT so far the poll says 19 wins to PBF and 16 to Khan. WTF is going on here? Yeah I find that a little strange too, I suspect it's disgruntled Pacquiao fans. What has Amir done to deserve a shot against Mayweather? Amir is already ducking fighters. Floyd wins right now and wins in a few years. Khan hasn't done much to deserve a shot at Floyd right now, but he has the next 18 months to prove that he deserves it. Even if they fought right now, it would still be a big money fight because of Khan's inordinate media exposure, he's already a name to some degree so imagine how much more widely known he'll be in 18 months, after his US debut and subsequent performances. Assuming they both keep winning from this point onward, Mayweather vs Khan would generate a massive amount of money in 18 months time. And this is Money Mayweather we're talking about.

Floyd has never faced someone with equal handspeed. Amir Khan is a more dangerous opponent than people think, he's probably faster. Floyd would win a close UD(115-113 116-112) though coz skills pay the bills. And Floyd still has the best skills. True, Khan probably has faster hand speed than Floyd, but Floyd's slick skills and stellar defense means Khan would probably still have difficulty landing, whereas Floyd would find the target much more often. It depends how much Khan improves in the next 18 months or so I guess.

I do not foresee Khan being able to touch Floyd in the next 20 years. At Welterweight Khan will lose by KO in 3 or 4 rounds (due to his bad chin).

until khan takes on a more credible opponent, he is more hype than real. He is not yet in the same level as Mayweather.

Floyd would be too savvy for Khan. He would stop him mid to late. Floyd definitely would be too savvy for Khan right now. In 18 months if Khan improves, he might be able to take it to the cards, but still Mayweather would very likely win the decision.
