note: I didn't list all of their wins at 130
who do you see winning this fight in retrospect at 130?
no flaming...real discussion
Can you explain you're opinion?
Chico and Genaro were elite fighters, but they aren't legends or atgs. Chico was a tall powerful puncher, but had limited skill, bad defense, and a weak chin. Hernandez was a solid fighterand only lost to Oscar before losing to Floyd. But he was way passed it when Floyd beat him.
Either way, Floyd was better at 130 than Pac. That was the whole point of this thread.
Genaro was "way" past it when he fought Floyd...he lost to Oscar then he didn't lose in 2 years.
but yea, I like how you got back to the topic of the thread.
There's no way Pac, JMM, Barrera, and Morales beat Chico and Hernandez at 130.

Yeah I was a Floyd fan from 130-140, but after he jumped to 147, I lost interest in his fights. Floyd would take it at 130 and more than likely 135. Pac faced the bigger, better names at 130, but I think Floyd was at his best at 130-135, while Pac was still learning his trade.
That said, I think Pac can beat at Floyd 140-147.
Pac of today would outclass and knockout Pac of yesterday, but do you think Floyd of today would beat Floyd of yesterday?

FLOYD. He can run away faster at that weight!
Manny KO's Floyd and all his cornermen within 3 rounds
can you guys be serious and break down how you think this fight would play out?
Well lets flip it. If manny had to fight Floyds opponents he would win them all IMO
if Floyd had to fight Manny's he would struggle just like Manny did. Morales was at the end of his prime but still a hard fight. Marquez was in his prime. and the rest were very good fighters and Barrera wasn't the same Barrera from the 1st Pacquiao fight but he i still think Barrera beat Marquez. SO yeppp..
the way Floyd fought at 130, I honestly don't think that he would have struggled with the guys that Manny faced at that weight. Once again, styles are a huge determining factor in fights. So based on his style of offense AND defense at 130, I don't think that he would have struggled with MAB, EM, or JMM.

Why only one person who voted for Pac actually posted anything so far? Could it be the others wasn't following the sport then or just started following Pac recently? Just saying...
Floyd would win a Ud I think, but Pacquiao fought ATG's at 130, Floyd didn't.
so it's hard to say..Manny at 130 threw 100's of punches. He had an incredible workrate and was a southpaw.
I really don't know, if Floyd woops Pacquiao at 147 or vice versa..thats basically our answer.
If Pacquiao beats him down at 147, chances are he'd beat him down at 130 as well.
I'f go with Floyd at 130 though, he looked real sharp.
