did he possess the skills in order to be an elite boxer? its not about skills man , any man with the right mindset can possess those skills but it takes hard work and dedication. Focus and unrelenting mindset to strive for perfection. That Bruce Lee did have more than 3/4 of the title holders out there currently. I will say one thing, Bruce Lee in MMA wouldve been great to see. He was all about that. To me he was the founder of Mixing Martial Arts when it used to be considered unorthodox.

His Jeet Kune Do is based on boxing and i have see one Leonard s interview who said that he could be a champion in boxing

its pretty obvious that only an idiot would say no to this question however as far as if bruce would have the business aspect i say yes and easily...bruce is a guy who was asian in america trying to get big way back when...tryin to get into f*cken showbiz with his kickass fighting skills..he certainly had the mind to be a huge f*cken star thats for sure..ofcourse his death made him huge like how everyones death occurs when a superstar dies young.. but bruce had the mentality and just the goodness of a human being to get over with everyone and be accepted by the american public..i'd say he'd make the smart decisions financially cause certainly doesnt seem like the guy to be f*cked around in all aspects..he's true and he'd make the proper adjustments for the business side of boxing, absolutely.. I'm a pacfan but don't shoot :p Come to think of it, that's a good point. He did have it. He was a star of his world and had it in him to be one in ours.

bruce lee was a freak of nature. I think he would of done just fine.

Bruce lee was a fighting genius. So if he wanted to be great at just boxing.....no problem.

Thanks eyah it's Bass Rutten. Bruce woudln't have liked the politics of boxing. 60/40 and all that wouldn't work with him. He's a type that would have fought on the street like Tyson. He stole he philosophy from people, and mixed it all into one for himself. He apparently loved a challenge, but boxing is another level, a business. Could he learn? Yes he has a great mind, and mentality is 50% of boxing. Does he have the other 50%? Yes his body is damn good and he always worked hard.

He boxed, so he has at least the basic skills that could be honed, his mechanics and athletics are more than capable of making it. heart and chin would be questions since he didn't fight at any sort of level for either to be tested.

Posibbly. Some big MMA trainer right now, I forgot his name said he belived Bruce Lee had the ability to learn damn fast and could have abeen a great fighter in the UFC. Wish I remember his name but he's a famous MMA guy and use to fight aswell. Bass or something As for boxing, he was physically fast and looks strong. Whether he can take a punch and learn boxing and adjust to not using his feet, that's another story. the guy you mean was bass rutten
