Taking punches isn't something fighters particularly look forward to, but I'm sure everyone has seen those types of fighters that never seem to go down, no matter what punch and how hard it was.
Feel free to name those fighters that could take any solid shots opponents threw at them. Fighters from any era count, along with the present of course.
i got one you're not gonna like....ODLH :lol1:
Tyson had a very good chin.....He took shots from the likes of Bruno, Ruddock etc and brushed them off. Douglas belted him for 10 rds and i maintain he is the only fighter to ever truly ring mikes bell. Lewis massacred him with every shot in the book for 8 rds before he went down......a mere mortal wouldn't have lasted more than 4 rds :lol1:
He does indeed, taking beatings from Cotto and Hatton without being knocked down or KO'd. Recently, Margarito had an amazing chin. It's probably done now after taking so many punches in 44 fights, especially after the brutal KO by Moseley. But before that and even during the fight, the man could take a bat.
Yeh very valid point actually and to also go into the ring with ***** power the dude also has some serious heart and bravery too.
Kid Gavilan - Only knocked down twice, once by Ike Williams and Carmen Basilio. Never stopped in 143 fights.
Billy Graham - Never knocked down in 126 fights.
Eddie Booker - Never down his whole career, fought many monster punchers.
Gene Fullmer
Carlos Monzon
Ricardo Mayorga
Harry Greb

George Chuvalo. Foreman was landing MASSIVE power shots on this guy (the type of blows that knocked down Frazier six times) and Chuvalo was taking them like they were grazing jabs. Chuvalo wanted to continue but the referee stopped the fight.

Eubank was a bad man... I loved his act and all shit and he backed it up...
I somehow always tend to lean to these kind of boxers... somehow I never liked DLH, Barrera, Mosley... I don't know why... they are all role models probably but I never liked them...
I always like guys like Ali, Camacho, Eubank, Mayweather, Roy Jones, Sweet Pea, Naseem Hamed you know... that's my shit...
Eubank was bad... he fought once here in Germany... and the crowd shit on him... but his entrance... his look... his body control... he was a showman... great heart, great chin... what a character def.

Eubank is the guy that turned me into a Boxing fan.
Oliver McCall. Lewis couldnt knock him out in their second infamous fight even though oliver was walking around the ring with his hands down taking shots
One could tell Lennox didn't really want to hit him, though. He knew something was up, so rather than punish the guy when he was vulnerable, he was a gentleman and allowed him to quit instead.
Chris Eubank had an iron!! chin.
