the fight will not take place on March 13th as it was planned, and we should expect a formal announcement shortly...

Exactly man. Roach thinks that we are stupid and don't see that...
Well, we know. But know who doesn't know or atleast....blind to the facts.
Team Mayweather planned to fight Hatton all along too.
But Mayweather mentioned Hatton before the Pacquiao fight came into negotiations. Mayweather mentioned Hatton before Pacquiao mentioned Foreman.
Team Mayweather planned to fight Hatton all along too.
So it seems maybe BOTH teams have been putting on a big act.
Has anyone from Team Mayweather come out and said they want to face Hatton?

Don't take Boxingscene too personal. I mean, I don't like you either but I wouldn't tell you to go away :D
So the whole time Roach's and Arum's plan was to fight Foreman the whole time. And put all the blame on Floyd for not wanting the fight. In reality, it's Team Pacquiao that doesn't want the fight but yet everyone blames Floyd.
And we all saw how that backfired :lol1:

this was Roach's plans from the beginning...
"Mayweather doesn't want to fight in March, so we might fight for the 154 pound title in March (against Yure Foreman) and move up for that eighth world title... And then Mayweather in September. If they guarantee that, then we'll do that, but we need more of a commitment from Mayweather because he's not negotiating too well."

1. he said Floyd not wanting to fight in March
2. He states that he wants to fight Foreman at 54 for an eight world title
3. Says Floyd in September because Floyd "didn't want to fight in March"
4. He lies and says that Floyd isn't negotiating well
well, 1, Floyd called that bluff and PROVED he wanted to fight by agreeing
and, 2, that was his original plan..to fight Foreman and to get away with it by saying that Mayweather didn't want to fight in the March slot
and 3, he wants more time to prepare for Floyd
and 4, Mayweather has agreed to everything yet he is not negotiating well?
Roach who do you think we are...for real..we actually pay attention to whats going on.
bump for the morning crew
I just cant see how Floyd asking for random blood test makes him the bad guy. Since when is a drug test request a bad thing?
There are already drug test guidelines set.
Now is not the best time to make these request.
It's a HQ type issue that takes time, a lot of meetings, more research, and paperwork, to enforce the multiple random drug tests via blood. The NFL, MLB, and NHL are working this issue the right way. Slowly but surely.
It's not up to the fighters ever. Forget the money and the contracts, if you asked me to do 15 random tests in ten weeks before I had to go one on one with you, then I would laugh in your face. The officials already have a program.

since when it was implemented?
Just because Pacquiao is kicking ass all of a sudden he's on steroids?
ummmmmmmmmm probably somebody is scared.
I was told as of midnight EST that Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, despite the lawsuit, were still negotiating but they are quickly running out of time to make a deal for a "March" fight. Pacquiao would have to start training by next week for everything to go on schedule.
At least both camps are still working together for the fight to push through as scheduled.

Rick! good to hear this...there is still a glimmer of hope!
