Pac from (16 years old) 106-147. This is the main point of Mayweather Sr. and flomos alike why they thought Pac is on steriod or some kind of PED but Floyd from (16 years old) 106-154? Great? Legend? :wtf:
Good point but Mayweather got overall slower, less offensive as he moved up. His power wasn't the same either. Where as Pacquiao (I'm not accusing him here) improved overall as he moved up. The difference is clear to see. One got better, other got worse.
Poor reasoning.

Dom, what do you think of these charts?

from http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-4514-Houston-Boxing-Examiner~y2009m12d26-Statistical-analysis--Pacquiaos-weight-classes
Yeah, they were made by a Pachugger, but does that automatically make them invalid?
Let's assume for argument's sake that the charts are valid.
In the first chart, it can be argued that the dip from 8.3 to 7.8 is statistically invalid since the sample size for the 7.8 isn't big enough. In addition, the 7.8 is skewed lower by the once-in-a-lifetime KO of Hatton.
The conclusion you can draw from them is that on average, Pac has had more difficulty, not less, in KO'ing his opponents as he has moved up in weight.
:feedback:
:pat::wtf: Where did you get this information? Floyd started boxing at the age of 16 and won national Golden Gloves championships in 1993 (at 106 lb), 1994 (at 114 lb), and 1996 (at 125 lb). Pac started his boxing career when he was just 16 years of age and weighed 106 pounds (light flyweight) in January 22, 1995 against Edmund Ignacio. Pac won his first WBC 112 title at the age of 19, 14 days before his 20th birthday. My point? they started at the same age at the same weight. Try again.
Don't be so offended because I was wrong about 6 pounds and one year.Yeah Flyweight is 112,not 106,you are right.
"My point? they started at the same age at the same weight. Try again."
I don't care how much they weighed at their birth buddy,or when they started boxing.
You are not a grown man at 16.
I'm still right about the fact that Floyd is a bigger grown man.
Manny won his first title at 112,Floyd at 130,21 years old.
In 2008 when he was 29 years old,Manny was fightin Marquez at 130,where Floyd started at 19 years old.In 2008,Floyd already was a welterweight for years.
Now,Floyd cant make less than 146 when a guy like Cotto made 145 easy.
FLOYD 19 YEARS OLD=130
MANNY 29 YEARS OLD=130
My point is Floyd is basically a bigger man,and IT'S A FACT!!
Sorry if I wasn't accurate for few pounds and one year buddy.
You are overrating May's accomplishments,at 106,112 he wasn't a world champion,he was just fightin US amateur opposotion.
First, RJJ was using something called Ripped Fuel (he admitted it) which is suppose to be a dietary supplement it "supposedly" contains calcium, chromium, green tea, cocoa seed, caffeine, l-carnitine, and cayenne (heavy on the caffeine).
I don't think the accusations against Manny is about steroids. People are suggesting EPO or HGH, more than likely EPO which helps an athlete keep his or her stamina throughout endurance events because it increases the red blood cells (which help oxygenate your blood) in the athletes blood. The only way to "possibly" detect EPO reliably is by having a multiple series of blood test over time so the samples can be compared to each other to check the level of red blood cells. This is necessary because if taken in light doses EPO does not stay in the body for a prolonged period of time (less than 24 to 48 hours) that is the reason three blood test would not suffice.
HGH can raise your energy levels and metabolism. It can cause you to feel energized and burn fat which would be beneficial to an athlete during workouts. The combination of EPO and HGH would allow you to work harder without feeling the ill effects of it (being tired or sore) afterwards. Both PED's are almost impossible to detect in urine.
Both drugs can be used to help an athlete heal quicker. In the case of James Toney, he stated that a doctor provided him with "steroids" to help heal his bicep tear. In SSM case, he confessed to "unknowingly" using EPO, HGH, and a masking agent to conceal his use but his supplier stated he knew what he was doing the entire time.
I don't know if Manny is using anything special or illegal but the easiest way to solve the problem is to take the test. There was an article about Lance Armstrong an his return to the Tour de France. He was tested over 20 times in a one month period. I don't think anyone is beyond suspicion in this day and age of science, including Manny.
Its right to say from now on that all Mayweather's future opponents should be tested this kind of Olympic testing otherwise its such a disgrace if he only wants Pac to be subjected on it as there's no way he can't tell the others if they are using it or not.
Boxing is different than running. in running the steroids affect the legs primarily but boxing is a whole different kettle of fish because every muscle group is needed - back, legs, arms, forearms, neck for upper body movement etc - which is why RJJ suffered when he used them. Before the roids he was super fast because he could throw his entire body about. When he hit the roids he lost that ability.

When Manny won his first 106 title against a proven world champion, his first super batamweight title against Ledwaba, the first time he fought Barrera who was Top 5 P4P at the time, the Morales rematches, the Marquez fights first rounds...
They all get hurt, dropped an ruined by Manny's speed+power package.
Now,Manny is more elusive and skilled,I mean more complete.
So I'm not surprised to see Cotto gettin Tkoed in 12.
Hyprocrits or ignorants!!That's what they are.
Most are just haters, it's sad that they're trying to destroy a good, respectful fighter's reputation because of jealousy.
Horrible comparison.
Mayweather won his first title at 130.
Mayweather was 106 when he was a teenager.Manny was a 130 fighter few years ago.
Manny won his first pro title at 106,WBC at 20 years old.
All I mean is in no way Mayweather multi divisions performances are good as Mannys performances...
Manny 20 years old=106.
Floyd 20 years old=130.
Floyd is by far the naturally bigger fighter. That's why Manny is so great,he served Cotto,a fighter PBF ducked according many people.

in floyd's defense......he did fight lesser opposition and not as tough a competition as manny. :)[/QUOTE
and more than anything else this is because Floyd is a coward, afraid of facing top opposition, unlike Manny.
i never understood how people could say look how fast he is or how hard he punches all of a sudden.
from 112-130 , he was always considered one of the fastest and hardest hitters in his division.

Anton-Chigurh and Easy-E are the same person. LOL with 2 profiles. He comes on here with both of them back and forth to make it look likt Floyd has fans.
yea....no.
I have one account on here. If you had maybe done a little research, you would have seen I have never logged off. But hey, I guess it is just more fun to make accusations with no basis in fact.
Oscar said Pacquiao's punches felt like Shane and Vargas's punches.
Yeah,to add suspiscions on Pac
1)becuz Oscar hates Pac who humiliated him
2) in order to force Manny to take the tests because if not Oscar knew PBF and his girlfriend Lea Ellerbe will not agree and Greedy Boy wants the Money.
it's from her book "Beyond Sports Doping Headlines".
i google it. :)
suprising. does she mention cycling and the blood testing used? It is the most intensive testing procedure of any sport.
Your not too bright are you? I was being sarcastic about his career.
27 years old and attempting to insult people's intelligence online.
:thumbsdow sick life.
What she is expressing though, is that urine testing is easier, not more effective in regards to the ability to detect a particular drug in the system. Obviously much more work needs to be done with blood testing in regards to sepearating the blood. Also, the phrase "prohibited substances" is vague, as it could refer to recrational drugs like marijuana and coke.
In cycling, for example, when they are testing for EPO or doping, they always use blood testing, because it cannot be dected in urine. That statement appears (and it may just be my perception) to be related to pre-work drug tests or police drug tests.

"Testing urine is better than testing blood for most prohibited substances (small molecules, molecular weight less than ~800 atomic mass units). Urine collection is noninvasive and yields a large volume of sample, with higher drug concentrations than in blood and with far fewer cells and proteins to complicate extraction..." - Caroline K. Hatton, PhD, former Associate Director of the Olympic Analytical Laboratory of the University of California at Los Angeles

I was kiddin about that but maybe because Oscar knows he can make alot of money off of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.
LOL more conspiracies, maybe Oscar just got caught in a lie when he was trying to implicate Manny. The fact of the matter is that:
1) His speed has always been blinding
2) According to Diaz and Oscar post fight he didn't have much power
I really dont see a case for Steroids based on performance.
