The win over Taylor is nothing since Abraham had his way with Jermain. Pascal isn't really that good. He got drawn into a war with Froch and couldn't keep up with his workrate. Dirrell was absolute dog turd in his fight with Froch. I'd rather watch Johnson-Vitali then Dirrell-Froch again.
Reid was way past his best.
Froch is fucked as soon as he faces a decent boxer. Who won't go toe-to-toe with him for 36 minutes.
Also the fact Froch's career depends completely on his punch resistance, which didn't look too great against Dirrell.
People seems to always underestimate Froch. Froch doesn't care. He just wins. Everybody can see the flaws yet he always prevails.
Surely he must do something right and you really should give him some credit.
ward would beat froch, but froch won't be scared to retaliate fouls against ward like kessler was. the only thing is ward might be able to get away with his fouls and froch might not in the USA.
If they are intentional, yes. Not for sneaky Ward type headbunts which are hard to see.
As difficult they were to see for a californian referee as easy they are for a danish ref. In most other places than Ward's hometown his holding would have been called as well.
If the ref is german he might add a couple of low blows to go with holding and deduct a point for punching back.
Revisionist history is a Yank's forte.
aren't the brits the ones who keep clamoring on about jones and hopkins ducking joe calzaghe? ducking a guy who nobody knows and refuses to fight anyone even according to his own promoter. wouldn't even take the glen johnson challenge.
You can get away with unintentional head clashed, but rabbit punches are a very serious offense, and he will get DQ'd for it.
Some ref's will DQ you for headbutts as well.
I doubt that and I think that Carl will respond eye-for-an-eye if Ward uses the flying headbutts that was so successful against the clean-boxing Kessler.

Would be just as one sided as the Kessler fight, maybe even worse.

I don't see Froch getting KOd by Ward and if the Froch that fought Dirrell turns up he will lose on points for sure. Can Froch learn from the Dirrell fight? I don't think so . Froch would be dangerous right to the end and could get a KO, that is his only chance IMO.
No. I had it 8-3 or 7-4 at the time of stopage. Either way Taylo had the fight in total control. I was also rooting for Froch by the way.
No he didnt. He was dying for the final bell by the end of the 11th. He certainly wasnt "stomping Froch" for the previous 11 rounds either.
But each to their own.
So you scored it 11-0 for Taylor at the time of the stoppage?

That he is. The guy didn't get discouraged after getting stomped for 11 rounds by Taylor.

True. He won about 8 out of the first 11.
really? i thought it was closer, haven't watched that fight in a long time though. i remember taylors activity dropping and froch coming on late.
it was sad to see taylor getting knocked out. one of my favs.
and froch is a complete ass.
