Is pavlik vs williams the next biggest fight in boxing?????

Williams can still make 147 easily and is definitely a big part of that division. I want Williams to get a shot at the winner of Floyd and Pac so he can prove to everybody that he is the top dog at welterweight. With his exciting style he could be a household name but he needs to get one of those big stars to step into the ring with him. I'd pick Williams to beat both Floyd and Pac. I'm always baffled at why people want Williams fighting at WW. Makes no sense to me. Pac can fight at LW, but what's the point?

My man what you may not know is that Williams started out at MW. he has more fights under his belt above 147 than he has at 147. More meaning ful fights anyway IMO. The only fight he has at 147 that is a meaningful win is against Margarito. Besides that he has two big wins above 147 against Martinez and Winky. If he lands Pavlik and that fight does happen that will be more then he ever achieved at 147. Fighting for the Undisputed MW Championship is a pretty big deal. He wins that scrap he can write his own tickeet he won't need table scraps from 147 and Floyd or PAC. To me MW and Pavlik makes more sense than taking the risk of dropping back down and hanging around in a division where no one wants to fight you....Lefty

I disagree Williams needs to stay at 154 or above. There are other fights are 147 that I would rather see then WIlliams vs PAC or FMJ....Willaims vs Pavlik at 160 would b awesome. If Williams would be able to take that fight we might have a rematch and a more active exciting MW Champ....Lefty Co-sign no argument from me, the winner of this fight (either of which) could face Martinez for the cherry on top. It's one of the biggest fight that should/could be made in 2010. However I'd love to see Williams fight the winner of Floyd vs Pac in 2010. I disagree Williams needs to stay at 154 or above. Yeah, it could be. Despite all the wranglings we've had on it (and will likely continue to have), it would be a huge occasion for boxing to have them fight. The buzz would be incredible.
