This has nothing to do with the fact that Pavlik still draws a considerably larger audience to the fight than Williams. Outside of each's drawing power, there is really nothing to base the purse division on. And Pavlik wins that battle, easily. And while we're at it, Paul's last 3 opponents have been Phillips(not even worthy of being called a fading champ), Winky(old and rusty as hell), and Martinez(who before he fought Paul, was considered dangerous, but by no means elite) While Pavlik has fought Hopkins(ATG), Rubio(mandatory, and was considered a decent fighter who beat Ornales, who looked legit vs. Hopkins) and Espino(chump, but had balls and made a decent and entertaining fight while it lasted). Are there really huge differences in the competition?
Kelly Pavlik wasted Paul Williams time this whole year by pulling in and out of fight. Pavlik has demonstrated that he was shook the moment he signed the fight with this last dude instead of fighting Williams. One second, Kelly's on his death bed and can't fight Williams, then after the fights called off, he's signed to another fight, while Paul is left to face the dangerous Martinez. O, and by the way, Martinez>>>Pavlik. Pavlik should be penalized for his behavior and the 5% should serve as compensation for Williams getting the 'run around' for Kelly&co and Arum. And now that Paul looked vulnerable in his last fight, Kelly all of a sudden grows a pair and tries to call at Paul. Please.
team williams already said they wouldnt do it for less than 50/50
PLUS they want money up front in order to invest time in training and planning on the fight
If thats the case fight wont happen we all know Pwill will be lucky to get 50/50... but f**K ...they need to fight! let see whos the man.!:boxing:

60-40 Pavlik, normally. However, for that bullshit that he pull on Williams, the split should be 55-45 Pavlik. Hell, Paul is fighting better competition while Kelly is fighting scrubs. Paul just fought arguably the best 154 lber while Kelly fought some no name that was actually suppose to be Paul fight. Let's not forget the bitch moves Kelly has pulled off this past year as it relates to P-dub.

Pavlik easy, 60/40 at least. He is the champion and the bigger name by far.
Agree with this. 60/40 minimum for the reasons stated above.

Im sure Pwill will not take the 60-40... Goosen and Williams wont do it so can it be called ducking? we know who's the champ. hope both sides will agree for 60-40 and let it happen for boxing fans...
Pavlik of coarse! It should be 60-40 and williams should take that offer and be happy! But Goosen and Williams way of ducking Pavlik is to pull that 50-50 shit, they are crazy! Pavlik would have fought Taylor for 80-20 just to get a shot at the champ. Goosen and Williams will duck Pavlik now they know Williams would get KO'd for sure!
If Pavlik demands 70-30..there will be no fight.......
55-45 Pavlik......
He wouldn't demand that big a split but who would win the fight doesn't really play into the split here, Paul draws nothing and Pavlik can actually headline a PPV. Paul should just get in the ring, 55-45 would be a steal for Paul.
