Other fighters have been doing the cut weight, blow up 10 or 15 lbs thing for a while. Floyd actually never really did until the JMM fight. I believe that. He went in around 149 (yes he lost weight from weigh in to fight night) in his bout with Oscar, and Oscar was 165-170. Castillo did the weight cut thing too, as has Corrales, and many other fighters he has fought. But in that last match he went over to the dark side for once, and did the weight cut thing, and blew up about... 10-15 lbs from weigh in to fight night. Maybe he wanted to "be Oscar" for once. I don't really blame him much for that, other fighters been doing that to him his whole career. Only thing he did wrong was miss the weight by 2 lbs, in my eyes. But yes he was between 155-160.
