Both sides do expect the fight to get done. There is way too much money at stake for both fighters. They can't even come close with any other dance partners.

I havent seen many threads about how Manny is afraid of Floyd...? There were a few after Roachs comments about Foreman, but since then there has been nothing. There are usually 3-4 threads on the front page at a time about how Floyd doesnt want Manny, is scared of him, is pretending to want the fight, etc etc. riiiiiiiiiight. I guess ignorance is bliss.

Im thinking they are just waiting for whatever reason to make some big official Announcement, cause it does not take 2/3 weeks to pick a venue, look at staples in LA that was turned down in like 1 day, yet it takes them 2/3 weeks to pick Vegas or Texas? BS. Jerry Jones is making it hard on them. From what I'm reading, Arum wants Texas but everyone else wants Vegas, and it would be a done deal only Jerry Jones is offering crazy money and it would be stupid not to take him seriously or not try to get Vegas to match him.

They're playing both Vegas and Dallas to get more money from the site fee. That's why it's taking so long. Jerry Jones isn't going down without a fight. I'd guess the final fee ends up being something outrageous, as high as $50 million.

True it was obvious this fight was always going to happen my gut feeling knew from Floyd coming back and picking JMM he was firmly focused on Pac , I really laughed at all the people that kept saying wont happen for some of most ridicules reasons . Put it in Vegas and settle it! I think Vegas gets it as well. I don't believe Floyd will sign the contract unless the bout happens in Vegas. So if Floyd had signed already (as confirmed by Steve Kim), then we know for sure where the fight will occur.

Like I've been saying for weeks. This fight was a done deal as soon as Manny beat Cotto. No one ducks a paycheck like this. No one.
