i am sure you have seen many of his fights, but in all of those that you had watched, which one do you think was his 'most impressive win'??
for me its definetly the fight against gatti or corales..
Despite JMM looking slow the way Mayweather made him look absolutely clueless from early on impressed me, because I wasn't expecting SUCH a technical beating.
As for most impressive. I was impressed with the way he used his short counter punches against Hatton when Ricky tried to smother him and then later started to open his hands up more and throw combos before getting Ricky out of there with that beautiful check hook.
Corrales was just ridiculous all those knockdowns he gave Chico a beatdown, same with Gatti and Judah. It's hard to choose....probably Judah, because Judah had 2 of the best rounds I have seen anyone have against Floyd since the Castillo fight before Floyd had him on the verge of knockout.
I think his best performance was against De La Hoya, Mayweather TOYED with him, it broke him into the star he is now you know, he simply dominated the pace and he was the true clear indicator that De La Hoya was finished, Oscar couldn't phase him. the fight broke records, he fought with all disadvantages, more than any other time he fought yet he did superb, better than he did against Castillo..
you could say Corrales and probably even Hatton because those were 2 undefeated fighters but there is a lot of backround behind those fights that kind of creates arguments in those fights but in the De La Hoya fight he was the only one with disadvantages there, De La Hoya had everything he wanted to his liking but still got schooled by a MUCH smaller man, didn't even make the full 154 I think Floyd was 152 yo real shit here son Floyd over Oscar was impressive to me if you consider the odds he was stacked against, the marbles that was on the line, the "world was awaiting" and he delivered..
I used to discredit that whole fight even happening but only because I thought Floyd was out of the door, he's back though so I learned to respect that win, so much as to say it might be his most impressive win,
Has to be the corrales fight for me. Chico was highly rated in the P4P list, and i believe was tipped to win.
Also the Judah fight. He showed great composure, with the first few rounds being close ones. But the again, Judah never really had the stamina.
So definitely the Corrales fight was the most impressive.
I am going with the Mayweather's win over Hatton. Hatton was undeafeated and dangerous. Hatton already had big wins over Tszyu and Castillo. In my opinion Mayweather overcame adversity as Hatton was really pushing Mayweather's limits to start the fight. Mayweather not only won, but provided a very exciting event.
So many fights... Yes Hatton comes to mind, Oscar comes to mind. They were both supposed to be the ones who beat Floyd, remember what people were saying BEFORE the fights, whatever they say afterwards you know it's tainted.
Diego was an hell of a win but Oscar, Hatton, Hernanderz, Castillo, Gatti, Baldomir, Judah, Marquez, Manfredy... Meh, Floyd has an hell of a resume and everyone expect Marquez was bigger than him and very live. Well Gatti was't so live but contrarily to what people try to make believe, Baldomir was VERY live and Floyd took pleasure dismantling him. Oh and btw, every single one of those guys were a champion.

His very first fight turning pro. Impressed me. from then you can see he can become better and one of the best boxer in the future. What a body shot!
Beating Diego the way he did. He was brilliant that night. The constant knockdowns should how a aggresive motivated Floyd is very exciting. His fights against Baldomir, Jmm, De la Hoya, where boxing clinics and uneventful.
The first Castillo bout. Perhaps he wasn't at his best but gutted it out in the latter rounds. Particularly round 11, where he fought on the inside with Castillo and, in my opinion, got the better of him.
I thought he was undefeated.
Diego and Lovemore
mayweather never fought lovermore ndou. he fought phillip ndou. i know your probably thinking who the hell is that? we all were.
It has to be the ndou fight,if u hav'nt seen it go watch it and if your not a fan of floyd after watching it your not a fan of boxing, pure genuis in the ring....
Remember ndou was undefeated and a a knockout specialist....mayweather gave him some beat down....
The N'dou fight was great, but N'dou had one loss from early in his career when he fought Mayweather.
He got up too soon against a guy, and stumbled, and the ref waved it. He probably could have won that fight, but yeah
