Two Respected Insiders Say March 13 Date Is OFF
Published by Scoop Malinowski on December 17th, 2009
First, it was George Peterson, the trainer and manager of Paul Williams, who responded two weeks ago to a question asking his opinion on the Pacquiao-Mayweather match, by answering, “It isn’t gonna happen. It isn’t gonna happen. Some fights weren’t mean to be made.”
Next, none other than Bernard Hopkins, revealed in a **********.com interview with Greg Leon, with an offhand remark that his inside source told him the March 13 date would be likely be canceled.
The interesting connection here is that both George Peterson and Bernard Hopkins have direct ties to Al Haymon, the advisor of Floyd Mayweather. Peterson and Haymon are partners in guiding the career of Williams, while Hopkins has stated on the record he is “friends” with Haymon. Hopkins’ most recent fight was against Ornelas, who is the brother of Haymon client Librado Andrade.
Could Haymon have divulged insider information to Peterson and Hopkins, which both inadvertantly leaked to the media?
Only time will tell.
Stay tuned…

Can u dumb assholes stop reading every little report that pops up... Lol it's hilarious how everyone eats up and believes everything that comes out that pertains to this fight... A bunch of gullible high school girls on here that love the rumors lol
Again guys, you have to remember the names of these writers. Go to that site and read these guys articles. He's the #1 Floyd hater and the stuff he writes is truly disgusting. Dont believe the shit he says, ever. Just go into the archives and read the hundred Floyd articles he's made since the end of Pac-Cotto and tell me that this guy isnt obsessed
It would be an advantage for Floyd to fight Manny in March 13, less rest and still bruised up. Any later date would definitely make this fight even more impossible to become a reality. I can't even wait for another 3 months, just please make it happen.
Pac agreed to:
1. olympic style drug testing
2. 147 lbs limit with the WBO WW on stake
3. March 13 date even if he was obviously bruised after the Cotto fight
if PBF chose to fight Matthew Hatton, then its a clear DUCK.....
I will not be surprised to know if PBF would not want to fight Pac.....heck, Mayweather Sr. did NOT want his son to face Pac when he was interviewed after the Pac-Cotto fight....
PBF is just doing a Mayweather.....So, what else is new?
