He mentioned that Floyd last lost was in Olympics with a Southpaw . . .
And noted that Zab (another southpaw) should have won it with Floyd but run out of gas . . .
Pacquiao is like Energizer bunny and will continue to pressure Floyd and throw bunch of punches in 12 Rounds . . .
Good tip from a boxing expert . . .
Did you see at 1:19 where Floyd lands a clean right hand that snaps Todorov's head back and it is not even counted!
He lands a right hand and then a left hook at 2:08 that was not counted, then a glancing blow was landed by Todorov.
Floyd lands a solid right hand at 4:28 that is not counted.
Then the score two shots from Tordov that do not even land at 4:55 and 5:00. Floyd lands a nice uppercut @ 5:46 that was not counted. They then awarded Tordorov a mystery point in an exchange starting at about 6:30. They exchange right hands at 6:53 but a point is only awarded to Tordov.
It was a strange fight. Torodov deserved points for all the shots he landed, which were nice ones. However Floyd landed more punches and deserved the nod. You could see at the end not even Torodov thought he won. He was shrugging his shoulders and apologizing to Floyds corner.
I swear that's Exaclty what happened in Velasco-Petrov semifinal in 1988 Semifinals (Minimuweight). I hate that scoring system.
If JMM outlanded Pac in total punches and power punches and had the same number of jabs landed all at higher percentage, I'm not sure where people all of a sudden come up with this perception that he's this monster pressure fighter.
If Castillo blah blah blah Blah Floyd in the 1st fight. then Manny Pacquio blah blah blah blah.
Got it?
I hind it hilarious that you can talk about hanging out with Evander like he is just one of the guys. I got that man so high on a pedestal that if I met him I would be like a deer in headlights.
He is my co-favorite fighter of all time by a large margin along with Arturo Gatti. Those two have the biggest hearts the sport has ever seen IMO.
Yeah, Ive met Bowe a few times, I took Chop Chop's wife for a ride, talked to Tony Thompson, Gary Jones, Joppy, and so on. I think boxers are more down to earth than most pros
yea, I actually won Athelete of the Year by my school newspaper for all the sports during my senior year. I went to Eastern Illinois University. The same school that Tony Romo went to, his senior year was my true freshmen year. So I know Tony pretty well, he is a good guy. I played Running Back. I'll add the link to the story that kind of goes with those pictures that I posted earlier in this thread. I'm 25 homie, i graduated college in 06 and I was apart of the 07 draft class. I had a workout with the Colts, but when I ran my forty I pulled my hamstring very bad, right as i got to the finish line. After I got hurt, they bagged off and no other teams showed me interest. But anyways, here is that link that I was talking about brah...

Thats dope homie, I wish I had my shit together to go to school back in the day but I ended up getting kicked out of like 3 schools and not finishing 12th grade. I had to get my GED in jail. Then I see alot of cats that I use to ball with were playing big in College and pros like Larry. Ive also played RB along with FB, TE, DE, and MLB. So what you doing with ball now? Did you give it up or are you trying to play in a smaller league or anything?
Webb, what did you say? You won athelete of the year in College? Explain more. What did you do, play football? What school and what position? I was good at ball when I was younger but I stayed in trouble and got locked up. I use to play in the same pee wee league as Larry Johnson and I have an All Star Game MVP where we were in the same game together. We use to play ball all the time and I use to kill him back then and we would both spend the night over our peeps house. Good pics though homie. How old are you?

I agree... I mean honestly I respect Holyfield as a fighter... but being an good fighter doesn't make you an boxing expert... if I sometimes hear boxing picks from ''boxing'' experts... I'm wondering what these guys are doing for a living...
I say it again... Floyd has good weapons against southpaws... but obvisouly fighting a southpaw is more difficult then fighting an righty... we will see... against Corley and Judah he got hit but he also pressured them and stayed in front of them because he ain't respected their power... I don't except him to stay in front of Pacquiao

Holyfield has a good take on the fight. Pacquiao will romp, I'm very confident of that.
exactly how i see the fight going. If he pressures Floyd for 12 rounds, uses his angles or gets him on the ropes...and the southpaw stance, I don't see Floyd winning. Yea Floyds a good counter puncher but he only throws one punch at a time and doesn't really have a lot of power.
Good pics, Webb.
And thanks for the video, ILLipino. :fing02:

The guy in this video Todorov is not a Southpaw. I don't Evander was talking about this guy.
ya i was thinking about that too ... he was def talking about toforov, but he musta forgot he fought orthodox
:lol1: yeah. Actually if you had just shown that 3rd pic on its own people would have thought you were at a wax museum or something, the expression on Evander lol.
That's great man, I saw him at a book signing in my country, that's about as real as it gets for me. Must have been epic to chat boxing with a legend like Holyfield.
yea, him, my mom, and dad were looking at the camera, but I was still talking in that shot. its very kool to talk to Evander though. I was very amazed at the first time I met him, but since I've gotten older, i've gotten used to seeing and talking to him. I actually went to his house when was in high school and beat him in bowling! Then the next night we went over there, he got his lanes waxed and he blew me out...dude is a competitor to the heart and that is why he is trying to be heavyweight champ again. I wish he would retire, because he has already accomplished SO much. but he is a good guy though. Him and my dad go way back to boxing in the amateurs here in the States.
haha.....naw, I wasn't trying to fight Real Deal, he's like an Uncle to me...but it does look like that though right? haha

I remember when Evander was at my house about two years ago before the fight with Oscar and Floyd. His opinion was that that if Floyd were to win he would possibly be the best of all time. He may not feel that way NOW, but him, my dad and I discussed the Oscar-Floyd fight in much detail. I'm not lying. Don't ask me for a source neither, I personally know Evander, he and dad are really good friends. we had a celebration for me at house in Saint Louis when I won Athlete of the Year in college, here are a few pics from that conversation that we (me, my pops, and Evander) had.

Mayweather was robbed in the olympics in a fight he dominated. Even the ref Raised Mayweather's hand by mistake. Stop being a clueless fan and learn something.
