David Haye will DESTORY Vitali.

I always said Dave Haye will beat vitali. Vitali is too slow old and boring, haye too fast and skilled for him. vitali only fights fat bums, , he dosn't know what will hit him when a more skilled fighter with speed like haye ko him. haye has more skills, is faster and a harder puncher. hay is the best in the division right now. the klit are boring and robotic. I disagree... Haye will hover on the outside just like he did from Valuev, and try to land the odd pot shot. Difference is, Vitali is no Valuev. And if he catches chinny Haye, goodnight.

haye didnt really do much against a non punching valuev whats he going to do with either klitschko throwing bombs at him i say any klitschko goes down like michael grant did to LL which is exactly what David Haye needs to happen? And, in reality, throwing bombs at David Haye is not the smartest or the easiest way of either Klitschko trying to beat a smaller man with a significant speed advantage and a huge right hand. Wlad for sure would tuck up behind a jab all night, and probably never open up until Haye was on his last legs.

Vitaly has the highest KO% of any HW champ in history. If Haye adopts his Valuev tactics he loses the fight by huge UD, if Haye attempts to trade with Vitaly he get's KO'd. Vitali will at least throw right-hands at Haye. Valuev gave nothing. Nothing. That said, Vitali could definetely hurt and stop and Haye. But, Haye should have opportunities to catch the big man.

And, basically, he's not as good as Wlad. He's never been as good as Wlad. He's tougher - that's it. Vitali's body would be creaking like an old door if Haye took him into the late rounds. Exactly what I've been thinking since the Arreola fight. Last night only confirmed what I was thinking. Frankly, aside from the fact that I think style-wise Vitali is a better fight for Haye, I also think that Vitali lacks the one-punch knockout power to really exploit Haye's chin. Vitali wears down his opponents to knock them out, but I really think he'd have trouble landing enough flush punches to knock Haye out, whereas Wladimir could end it all with one big right hand.

Nobody destroys Vitaly, and especially not Haye. I understand Haye huggers getting excited that Vitaly couldn't put away Johnson, but let's not forget Haye is only a champion because he managed a lucky MD against the worst HW champion in recent memory. Hardly grounds for 'destroying' anybody, least of all Vitaly K. People read too much into the closeness of that Valuev fight. You can't beat him any other way. He plods forward, flicking out the jab. Once it's out there, what are you going to do move out of the way or stay there? because a guy like Haye can't counter it he hasn't got the reach. The clever thing about Valuev is that he never opens up. Count the amount of right hands he throws against Haye. Honestly. Count them. Valuev gets rounds in the bank by flicking out a jab and walking forward. He is so huge that there are times when that thing can't be countered. He's not great, but Valuev is a puzzle. Especially for small heavyweights like Haye. Valuev was more negative against Haye than the other way round - don't be fooled.

Both fighters could end it with a punch, neither will be safe until the fight is over. :D I just don't see Haye letting Wlad pepper him with the jab for rounds and rounds. He and his team will have the correct game plan, it just up to Haye to execute it. He has the head movement, reflexes and footwork to make Wlad miss with the jab. Great fight when it happens because Haye is the only HW which can cause the K brothers problems imo.

Wlad is scared as soon as the other fighter looks like landing on his chin. He won't jab Haye for 12 rounds because Haye is not a fat, sitting duck like the majority of their opponents. He won't, but he will keep distance with that jab. It's what he does, it's what he has been doing for about 7 years now. It's boring but it works. Haye would have to do seek and destroy job on Wlad in the early rounds and that just makes the fight a straight shoot-out. Wlad does look anxious in the opening rounds so that's Haye's chance to put him to sleep. If it went past 5 rounds, that's it. Wlad is a very good fighter. Everything works for him. Even being scared shitless at times works for him, it keeps him safe. I don't like his style but Wlad is the best heavyweight in the world by absolute miles.

My money would still be on Vitali going into 2010. Vitali is visibly aging, though, and Haye's (or Dimitrenko, or Povetkin, or Chambers) chances get better the longer the fight is delayed. I'd certainly say Haye has a better chance against Vitali than Wlad now; that wouldn't have been the case a year ago.
