the check-hook is a counterpunch... he didnt' get offensive until hatton was badly hurt.
I agree, a counter defeated Hatton... but the 8th round was floyd's offense at his best next to gatti performance
floyd is still offensive... just doesn't have the same hands back then, which makes his punches softer now with a "pfff...pfff.. pfff.." sound... last time he was real offensive is the 8th round vs. Hatton

i just think he has a new intiention in boxing now. He will win because he knows when he loses, all the money he make could be stopped. So he fights not to lose
Yeah your right. But boy was he so good back then. remember the Ndou, chavez, corley fights. He showed a great chin and a fighting spirit. I miss that mayweather. But you have to do what you gotta do to get that W. I still think he is a great fighter right now. Just different.
people forget that was a young mayweather. Floyd is now 32(feb will be 33). Not the same young hungry fighter he once was. Back then he was fighting for bragging rights. Now in his own words he is not fighting for bragging rights. He was a bad boy back then. I've watched all his fights.

If Manny outclassed this guy in that way his fans would include him in the generic list of shot fighters they usually reel off to proclaim his greatness. As it's Floyd the outstanding performance gets 'conveniently' ignored.

Its hard to to tell who is under or over rated where Floyd is involved. He makes everyone looks so second class..
I guess the same could be said for Manny
mayweather hasn't had offense since that time paulie malignaggi realized his hair was receding and thought to himself: "you know what would be a good look with this? Dreads."
lol he has offence, just miss the fast combinations
