So Floyd has had more fights than Pac has had (amateurs included), but really between the two fighters, Pac is the guy who has faced better opposition.
The opposition you face is what gives you experience not just the number of fights you have. I can fight 1000 times against midgets but that won't make me more experienced than Ali.
I don't think that Floyd's experience is going to be much of a factor against Pac because if Floyd does have an advantage over Pac, it's paper thin.
The point is that Floyd's never been in the ring with a guy like Pac and Vise Versa. Experience won't be a big factor IMO
Edit: Whoops, forgot to say that amateurs is included)
the one thing i can say is that floyd has experience with guys who have fast hands and hit for power, or guys who can move, i think the experience he had with corley and judah does help him.whereas this is the first time we will be seeing pac against a guy who moves along with being defensive and picks his spots.
the last guy remotely akin to that was marquez, thats why this fight is incredibly dangerous for both of them, but there are more questions for pac than there are for mayweather.
Maybe he's including his amateur fights?
That's what I thought.
:dunno:
But anyway. Floyd = 40-0-0 with 25 KO's, Manny = 50-3-2 with 38 KO's.

Manny has had more fights, but Floyd has had more fights against better opposition. Meaning he has been a world champ fighting that type of competition since his 18th pro fight.
Manny's opposition has been staggered, and peaking recently.
I dont expect that experience will have a major factor in this fight.
So Floyd has had more fights than Pac has had
This is incorrect.
