To those who have HBO. I actually like Joe Buck live because they actually have real conversations vs asking the same generic questions only to get the same answers the we always here from people. I'm just interested in what Floyd has to say about everything that has been going on lately.
here we go with the black people dont have fanbase. there is what 50 million african americans in the U.S.? Lets not use the race card for the reason why black fighters dont have a fanbase. this is coming from a brother, brother (half brother that is(half black/halfwhite). Dont let the mayweather hate & the white boy in the avi fool you. Ive been called a uncle tom for my mayweather hate from my fellow black friends. They say its my white half that's the reason for it.
Fraudulent jr. doesnt have a fanbase because he retired after being on top by beating oscar & hatton. who does that? He doesnt have a fan base because he doesnt have a exciting style & doesnt fight great fighters. he doesnt have a great fanbase because his interviews are arrogantly cringe worthy to watch. He is excessively arrogant & fake & really comes off in a bad way.
Why do you think he doesnt have a corporate america sponsorship? Even a non american like pacquiao is signed by nike.
not because he's black or because there is not a lot of us. Mike tyson had a huge fanbase & he was real crazy & real thug unlike fraud jr. he had a great fanbase because he ducked no one & he knocked people out.
sugar ray leonard had a huge fan base & he's the complete opposite of mike tyson out of the ring. he had corporate mainstream support because he fought great fighters & ducked no one & he knocked people out.
Fraudulent jr. doesnt knock people out compound that problem with ducking, compound that problem with not fighting the best competition, compound that problem with a boring style compound that problem with a loathsome personality equals no real fanbase.
dawson doesnt have a fanbase because of the era he started in & the fact that he is just starting. Weak example. hopkins doesnt have a fanbase because he is atrocious to watch. tarver same thing.
dont pull the race card. that can be demolished with the quickness, brother.
Yeah because we live in a color blind society right? And don't pull the half black card because you can still be just as racist towards a black person as anybody else. I can easily demolish you and your ignorant biased post with the quickness too "brother". Just the other day you claimed Frazier came from slaves and Ali didn't. Which is beyond false but you pointed that out as if Ali had it good and Frazier didn't. That exemplifies your ignorance. Not to mention that 99 percent of your post are to demonstrate how much you hate Mayweather or to talk about his finances. The fact that you obsess with hatred over a man you don't even know means you have a deep rooted problem. Not to mention those are the actions of a female. A bitch. Grow some balls.
You shouldnt have to ask. He's done this before during the marquez fight. he did a interview with a hip hop magazine basically saying black people should support him.
I have never heard of a star athlete in all of my years watching sports asking & desperate for fans & support. NEVER.
no black boxer in this country has any real built in fanbase other than mayweather really, and that percentage is generally very small. him and judah for some reason are really popular among black folks, but we arent exactly a large population.
dawson, williams, mosley, tarver, etc. none of these guys have any fanbase to look to whatsoever. they are usually the b-side of every fight, and when they are the a-side, its never a big deal.
and floyd just said the american fans should support him because floyd is an american, just like the american troops
So its ok for filipinos who are actually americans, sometimes 5 generations deep here, to support manny because hes basically filipino, but americans who get behind americans are somehow wrong in that notion?
Im cherry picking youre post admitedly, but i get annoyed when people get mad when americans wanna back their own, yet most mexicans, puerto ricans, filipinos here are american themselves, but are quick to support someone of their fukking great grandmothers heritage before they would support another american.
Thats fine, you have that right, but of all the things to sh!t on floyd, him asking for american support isnt one of them. He wore the american flag on his back during the olympics, he represented this country unselfishly by doing so, same with vargas, same with tarver, same with david diaz. Him rallying american support is something thats good. But everytime its brought up, its like yall dont wanna hear it, while we get ppvs like "Pinoy Power" and "Latin Fury" come on.
floyd was his usual arrogant self, shitty interview except for strahan he was funny as hell.
Oh he was just being disrespectful? That all it was?
I only caught Strahan talking about his show and him saying you cant take shots cuz im rich bitch...
floyd is lying about 1 million dollars he said he won on betting on NFL. he just said he put money on saints and lost money, but the saints won. also said he was gonna put money on patriots, but didnt. then he said he lost money on bret farve.
Go see point spread...
I think it was about to get interesting when I think Joe Buck asked Mark Wahlberg about the fight and knowing both fighters. "Who you got?" would have been the next obvious question but somehow that broke down? And now I'm watching Katie Morgan's Sex Quiz for like the 15th time it seems. As much as I'd like to see that, I'd rather Mark Wahlberg and Floyd go back and forth and argue with Strahan in the middle in awkward position to keep the peace. Man that would have been hilarious. Ohh by the way I only got to the end of it, did Wahlberg promote his upcoming bioflick about 'Irish' Mickey Ward earlier in the show.
Her voice deflates my boner.
I have to appologize for this thread. The show was complete shi!t and so off topic it wasn't even funny. Why in the hell would you bring Floyd on so you can ask him about tiger woods and football. SMH.
