When are people going to stop talking about this hype job? When he gets put to sleep again?
You can't run away from punches forever. Even defensively brilliant fighters, like Floyd Mayweather, get cracked with a hard shot every once in a while. Amir Khan is no Floyd Mayweather.
Do we really have to see this guy lying face down on the canvas again before the hype stops?
Come on people, get a grip! :argue:
Khan hasn't got the best of chins we know that from previous fights before Prescott. However that shot Prescott landed was ****ing devastating man, i can guareente any other guy would have hit the deck hard to. Khan just had a lack of defense and was exploited for it but that wont happen again...
Junior Jones had more talent than Amir Khan and managed to beat a prime Barrera 2x and Orlando Canizalez, however he still got rail roaded against guys like McKinney, Pickney because he did not have a chin.
Khan will suffer the same fate.

No reason we should. It's actually pretty funny that people insist on claiming the Prescott KO was the result of a 'weak chin'; actually that punch was every bit as likely to KO pretty much anybody as was the Pacquiao shot that decked Hatton. If you don't believe that, download the Mitchell v. Prescott fight somebody was kind enough to link to in the videos section and watch the slo-mo (played on the big screen as part of Prescott's entrance). Ouch...
Khan got KOed by Prescott not because of a glass chin but because he was over confident, got careless and his defense was inadequate. But he's spent a lot of time with Freddie Roach since then...

Roy Jones Jr. ran away from punches for a long time, long enough in fact for people to consider him an ATG.
The kid has skills and a world class trainer, all he need to do is dump his asshole promoter and fight some higher class opposition so we can see if moving up weight has helped his chin.
other than 3-4 fighters 140 isn't exactly overflowing of big punchers anyway.
the guy doesn't have a good chin, but you can't deny his speed and skills. he's still young, and has faced opponents far greater than he should be facing for his age.
the Prescott loss was nothing more than a lesson learned. Amir just put his chin out too easy for opponents to hit prior to that fight. He will learn and have some big wins as well as some big losses in his career.
He is doing what we as boxing fans ask of most fighters which is to fight the best opponents possible yet he is being hated on. I don't see any reason to hate him, he seems like a cool guy.
