watch more ali fights he would hold guys heads down with his left while whacking them with punches some to the back of the head perfect fight to watch is when he fought Chuck Wepner. Ward-Kessler was one of the worst cases of headbutting i've seen. He dived in with his potato with all the force he could. I don't think it was intentional and if they'd stop the fight it wouldn't have mattered as Kessler was not ahead at any point in the fight. They wouldn't have DQed Ward for a single fault either. Remember Froch did hit Dirrell in the back of the head every single time they clinched (like Hatton used to) and wasn't even warned for it. The instant Dirrell pushed him he was deducted a point. That was blatant. Anyway a fault is a fault and no excused Ward did fault Kessler.

Against Ernie Terrell Ali was dirty, Golota comes to mind as a dirty fighter. Golota was a headcase. As for Ali, if Terell had been severly injured after that beating how would he have justified it? By saying he called me by my slave name, which wasn't even a slave name, because his grandfather was from Ireland.

Ali was dirty as hell 2 with his rabbit punches and holding the fighters head down while he threw shots. I remember Ali doing a lot of holding during all three fights with Frazier and the third fight with Norton. But with his legs and reflexes gone, he had to clinch as a form of defence (not that im trying to justify it). Dont ever remember him rabbit puching anyone, what fights have you seen that happen in?

I havent seen any of Froch's fights, which ones do you have in mind? The one vs Dirrell where he hit Dirrell to the back of the head every single time they clinched, body slammed him and to top it off Euro style they robbed Dirrell. That was the dirtiest fight I've seen this year par with Margarito trying to cheat.
