LOL probably.. but Bhop wanted to fight him, so did roy?
as in wanted to fight cal
sounds about right.
as for khan improving since limmond, granted he has in terms of speed, defence, but he chin hasn't. it's the same old story, khan's chin is very suspect, too many blow up featherweight have put him on his arse. also, khan doesn't have a single KO punch.
I think for the sake of boxing, khan needs to grow some knackers and step up the calibre of opponent, once the DS fight is out of the way. And hatton needs to concentrate on his promo's company and eating well.
Khan's chin isn't so weak Ricky Hatton would KO him. Easy UD for Amir.
Unless you mean Matthew Hatton, he would KO the entire 140 division in 2 rounds.
I would go with Khan to outbox Hatton at this stage because Khan is younger and fresher but with Khan's chin anything can happen, Roach is good for him though he seem to be keeping his guard up and you need to do that if you cant take a punch like Khan, If Hatton bumrush him and land something then am sure Khan would be KO, He got put down by a grazing punch from Michael gomez who was shot and a super featherweight but that way 3 or 4 fights ago so maybe he has learn enough now.
Ofcourse he has the blueprint to beat hatton... so does pacquiao there all in the same team, but that cant stop hatton getting a beuty off on khan?
Anything can happen in boxing.
Khan is an improved fighter. Hatton doesn't get past the jab.

He dont have to power to KO hatton
maybe not a light welter, but that could come giving more time to build himself into the division.
However, Khan could force a stoppage win.
the Limond fight was years ago, Khan is a totally different fighter now. He would fight Hatton at length and use lateral movement.
Hatton's a good pressure fighter and Khan isn't even a smart boxer, not smart enough to avoid Ricky all match. Ricky will find Amir and when he does it's lights out. Khan looks good against fighters with average power and average pace. The time he fought a power puncher he was on his arse twice in 54 seconds. Hatton could probably knockout Khan with a body shot.
Hatton has beat harder opponents than Khan, with ease.
i think khan may have the beating of hatton - kills me to say it. I suppose it depends on how serious hatton takes the fight, how much he prepares and whether his punch resisitance has gone. if his can withstand khan's punch flurries, then hatton will be too powerful and strong.
As already said as well, FR has the blue print for beating hatton.
in all honesty, khan doesn't deserve the fight. he's already fought and put a bemish on MAB's record, and I wouldn't like the same to happen to hattons.
Yeah, think khan v ali will be next.
Right now, Khan beats Hatton via UD or stoppage.

I really have no idea of what kind of Hatton would turn up for the fight. I know he balloons up in between fights but Hatton is huge porker right now and losing 60 Lbs is tough at any time but losing it when you are getting older has to have an effect. A vintage Hatton slaughters Khan but I think a shot Hatton will turn up if this fight ever gets made.
If Willie Limond can floor Khan then Hatton can probably take off his head.
Khan wouldn't even win many rounds, Hatton destroys him. Different class.

Don't think Hatton deals with speed too well, Khan has that in abundance but maybe Hatton can wear him down with his physical style because Khan hasn't really been in a physical fight before so it's hard to say how he'd react and his chin might fail him if he gets caught. But I'm leaning towards Khan.
I also think Roach knows the blueprint on how to beat Hatton.
